I bought a tube for my bike tire, I inflated it at home and it immediately popped. We brought it back to the shop and they replaced it and mounted it, no questions asked! Great service with a smile. Would recommend and come back for sure.

I just wanted to say how good I have been treated every time I go in here. They are always professional and courteous. I am not very experienced with bikes and they help me with any questions without being condescending or making me feel dumb. They fixed my bike numerous times when needed and even with the pandemic going, did it faster than I thought. I HIGHLY recommend them and will continue to go there for all my needs regarding biking and accessories.

Stopped in for an emergency repair while cycling the canal. The tech could not have been more helpful and capable. He got us back on the trail in no time. Thank you!

Very friendly, courteous, and welcoming.Like most bike shops, each employee is exceptionally knowledgeable in a particular niche of cycling and has decent knowledge more broadly on cycling as a whole. The guy who worked on my touring bike (great guy. I think he’s one of the owners?) did a fantastic job for possibly too low of a service rate. Usually I have to finish a mechanic’s work within a few miles. I got all the way to Boston without needing to tighten one thing. [chef’s kiss]Prices are what you’d expect given the descending value of The Dollar, but they’re still competitive with other brick and mortar shops. The shop itself, while not fancy, is a nice enough place to be in- clean & well lit.Very, very few bike shops have more than a quarter of the selection of components, accessories, and apparel as you’d want, which is understandable if you have any experience in independent retail. This shop isn’t much different in that regard, but what they do have is nice enough.Pretty great selection of new bikes for most disciplines and also some decent casual townie/beach cruisers. If you’re looking for an old cheap beater bike frame to build up into a theftproof commuter/bar bike, they have possibly the best selection in town of those (albeit, most of them have their old garbage components still mounted). Proper vintage framesets are present, dope af, but “not for sale”.Slight bonus: there’s a cool indy guitar shop upstairs and sometimes you hear some great players trying out amps and making pretty sweet sounds for a minute or two.

I dropped my son's bike off in May for a tune up new tires and new back brakes and for them to add front brakes. After waiting a little over a month and having to call several times to ask about the status my husband picks up the bike and asked why there isn't front brakes? The response he got was oh idk and that what it! We paid the amount they charged so my son could finally have his bike after waiting so long. I'm not impressed with their service at all and on top of it they were waiting on a whitewash tire that we never asked for while the whole time they had the tire we wanted in stock! I won't be using them ever again or recommending them.

Was on vacation this summer and handlebars broke on the first day(totally unusual I know). Was planning on daily riding, so was totally bummed and stressed when it happened. Appreciate the guys getting me in and out in one day! (New handlebars, tape, labor)

I don’t think they test ride bikes after making repairs. Nor do they listen very closely when I am explaining a problem I’m having. I crashed my bike and brought it in for them to fix/replace anything that was broken. They fixed all the obviously broken things, but my shifter was not functioning properly (this issue predated the crash). I thought it was the derailleur needing adjustment, so i was a bit annoyed that they didn’t adjust it for me, but eventually I got around to trying to adjust it myself; I couldn’t get it right, so brought it to them saying as much, but they determined the shifter was broken (again, I had the issue before the crash, why didn’t they catch this when fixing everything then?). They replaced the shifter and I got my bike back, but the derailleur was still scraping on every gear setting! Not only that, I’m now realizing part of the issue is that my bottom bracket is incredibly loose and the chain rings are visibly warped! I’m not an experienced mechanic, so I’m slow to recognize these problems, but this is their job! How did they miss such obvious problems???Again and again I’ve come in with a problem, payed hundreds of dollars, and then left still having problems! And that’s not to mention my bike being in their shop for months on end and not being given an update, then calling and asking about the progress and was told they’d call me back with an update, and then not calling me back. Will never go back, and I am telling all my friends never to go there either.
