Plaza Barbers

Sean and Catherine are both excellent barbers. They can read your personality to see if you like to chat or if you prefer to sit in silence instead. I asked Sean for styling recommendations to suit my ugly head, and some gel products that might help, and the difference was remarkable!! I went from a 5 to a 7 immediately. I certainly don’t mind waiting 15-30 for someone that cares about their passion like they do.You can tell Sean is a friendly face in the community has often people poke their head in just to say hi! Burquitlam is very lucky to have Plaza Barbershop and I will not go anywhere else for as long as I live on the coast.

I used to love going to this place, but I moved. I came back for a visit and a quick men's fade cut on my way to the SkyTrain and I have to say the quality has gone downhill!!! Sean is a lovely person to talk to, but when his next client sat down 5 mins into my haircut (waiting for Sean) it felt the haircut was rushed and left unfinished to prioritize the next customer from waiting too long. the sides and back were well groomed, but the physical scissor work was left uneven & unfinished. Then at the end of the haircut he lathered on so much product to comb over & hide the remaining scissor work. it wasn't until I washed out all the gunk later that I noticed how bad it was. I ended up having to go elsewhere and paid twice to have a haircut. My advice for Sean would be to prioritize all of your clients equally. If the person can't wait...offer them a reserved time to come back. Also rehire the lady who used to have the chair by the door in 2019 she is a far superior barber, and she cut my hair with love and care. Also ask someone permission before you spray them with cheap Cologne from Winners. Some of us already have a more expensive Cologne on already! Also don't be cheap get some sinks & offer a wash!

Great barbers here, fantastic service. I’ve only gotten my hair cut by Sean, but I’ve heard great things about Catherine too. They’re both super nice and easy to talk to. More importantly, I’d trust either with my hair. Glad to have stopped by this shop and found a good barber!

Excellent service from Sean and Catherine! Brought our 2 boys we were told to come back at noon and they did an amazing job. Put cartoons on for them and even got a mini chocolate:)

I’ve lived in the area for 6 years and never really thought to come here. I’m usually very nervous to try new barbers but wow, Sean provided the best barber shop experience I’ve ever had. The other staff also seemed very friendly with their clients. This shops been around a long time and they all 100% know what they’re doing. The shop is nicely decorated to show the vast experience as well. They truly care and take the time on how you look (and smell). The tools and product they use are also Top Notch. I love this place, I've been going there for years. The owner is a great guy, his barbers are friendly and do a great job. Just recently I brought my 19 yr old son there and the guys took the time to ask my son questions and try different styles. I also like the fact that they are kid friendly. I recommend this Barber shop cause I am confident you'll be happy with your haircut.Keep up the the good work folks!Tony

Chatherine did a great job on my 4month old baby boy, great haircut. She was so patient and handled the todddler very well.

The owner, which I unfortunately forgot his name, is absolutely fantastic. Stand up gentlemen, excellent customer service, and has great attention for detail for the requested haircut. I don't typically write reviews but one is most certainly needed. Thank you
