Been a few times to Coquitlam location. Customer service is questionable.I asked about a usual discount for buying 2 products and she claimed there was none. Then upon seeing that I would pass on the buy 3 for 3. She claimed suddenly there’s 50 percent off on the second item.I passed it off as just a mistake, but on another occasion due to the child I was bringing along wanting to buy more last minute I wanted to get their discount but none of the ladies wanted to redo the transaction for me to receive it. All in the tone and body language, asking are you sure multiple times etc. I hope that they can hire better employees or train more effectively. Politeness should be met with so. Especially in a store with many children

Only had 1 person working when we went, and she was doing 2 ear piercings. We waited at the cash register to check out with about 5 other people for over 20mins. Pretty unacceptable.

It was busy but staff were great! Ferah the manager did a fantastic job of piercing and she explained everything perfectly. Deff would recommend.

Good customer service. The lady working there was very friendly and told me about a sale going on in the store. When I asked her a question about a certain product she was polite and patient. I changed my mind about an item at the checkout and she was super nice about it. The items in the store are a bit overpriced, but if you go during a sale it’s a not a bad deal :) I appreciate the kindness of the employee who was working when I visited!

Great customer service from the lady that pierced my ears, horrible co-workers though. Went in to get a lobe piercing today and this lady (Turkish/Persian descent) helped me pierce my ears, she was clearly new to the job and had a hard time finding things and setting up, which is not what I had a problem with, because she was exceptionally patient with me and my mom, while we were being super indecisive and kept second guessing ourselves.However, I had an issue with how disrespectfully her co-workers would speak to her and treat her. They did not once offer to help her, even though they could see her struggling, and anytime she asked for help they spoke to her as if she was stupid, when she just clearly needed some help. I felt so bad for her, because she was so kind, patient, intelligent and provided great customer service. Shame on her co-workers. Management seriously needs to sit the other two ladies down and teach them about workplace respect.

It was a quick and relatively painless process to get them pierced. But the spacing just looks weird to me. I feel like it doesn't really look evenly spaced and they (the third piercings) are a lot further apart from the second piercing then the second piercings are from the third. I ended up taking them out. The price wasn't bad, but will probably go somewhere else once they heal (if I decide to get a third piercing again). -- EDIT: I have a photo but it won't seem to show up. Basically, I can fit my pinkie in between the second and third piercing on one ear, but could only fit a pen between the second and third on the other side. But couldn't fit either between the first and second.

I Got Hired and showed up for work for my first shift as a supervisor/Assistant Manager, there was NO store manager VISABLE from the mall enterance and the Manager did not come out from the back of the store to check to see if I was there waiting. THE WOREST place I have got hired at! I was blamed for not calling the store or manager when I arrived for my first shift. It NOT my responsibility to look for me, I was there like was supposed to be. I Was told I was rude to the Manager later that morning for explaining why I was not still waiting. DO NOT SHOP THERE! I wouldn't give that company 1 cent! Terrible Management and Hiring Manager in Prince George. DO NOT WORK THERE EITHER. AWFUL TREATMENT OF AN NEW EMPLOYEE.

Great selection for the girls! Jewelry, bags, hair accessories, ear piercing and so much more!! Staff are friendly and so welcoming! Prices are reasonable and lots of sales on now!

At the Coquitlam mall location the manager was awfully rude. Her employee was just as rude. The lady that run me through the toll was great.The manager stuck her nose in the air and argued a coupon that I had had that clearly said that it would work for my shopping experience. I asked her to read the coupon again and she again told me that it was not applicable.Plain as day the coupon said it was valid for my purchases.She was so rude she made my daughter feel bad about coming there to shop at the store. So bad that my daughter apologize to me for buying her things.My daughter got the coupon for having her 7th birthday at the Abbotsford location.This was on May 17th she had 10 friends there and had the best time. The ladies at the Abbotsford location are so amazing that if they were not I would never set foot in a Claire's again.For a store that has over price items and sales all the time you would expect that the managers would make children have a good experience in the store.She was also rude to another customer in the store and it made my experience just that much more awful.if one were to shop at Claire's I highly suggest not going to the store with your kids.

Had my second ear holes pierced on Saturday. The girl working the opening shift pierced them and she was so sweet and knowledgeable. Placement was great too. All in all a good experience.
