The entire Building Dreams team was a pleasure to work with, from start to finish.We renovated our entire main floor and moved the kitchen from one side of the house to the other, removing a wall and creating an open-concept dream layout.Mike Valchuk was extremely helpful not only in the initial design, but throughout the renovation from end-to-end. We entrusted him with the keys to our home while we travelled for 3 weeks, and came home to an amazing transformation. His level of communication was outstanding while we picked floor colours remotely through video chat, and he was quick to always answer any questions we had in a timely manner.Upon returning from our vacation, there were only a few tasks left to finish the entire project. Mitch was an absolute pleasure to have in our home as he finished off these odds and ends. Great communication, open to any and all suggestions that we had, and overall made the final stages of the project a great success.The quality of workmanship was flawless, the level of details used in some of the trim work, cabinetry and kitchen is just incredible, and we could not be happier with the result.I also want to mention the painter that Building Dreams used, Igor from Custom Touch Painting. His skill level was impeccable, and we have already used him to help finish off our nursery for our first child that we are expecting in April.We had 18 people here for Thanksgiving dinner (pictures attached) and everyone was blown away by the transformation.In summary, we couldn’t have asked for a better contractor and team to work with as we completed the largest investment we will ever make in our home. Thank you Mike, Mitch and the entire Building Dreams team. You guys are awesome!!

Building Dreams Contracting always goes above and beyond. This is our second project with them and we already know they will be doing our next one. From Mike and Moe in the office, to Conrad, Mitch, and Liam on-site, they are talented, professional, helpful, friendly, and truly take pride in their work. We are beyond pleased with our bathroom. Very trustful Company. I had my kitchen remodelling. Living in apartment building, that was more complicated. Had too using elevator and long hallway but everything went smoothly, very happy with results.The whole team was very friendly and understanding, good cooperation.Have beautiful and function kitchen of my dream.If I have to do renovation in other place will definitely have them again.

After waiting for over a year to engage the right contractor who I felt confident would do a great job, based on a recommendation, I finally chose Building Dreams. I was not disappointed. Building Dreams totally exceeded my expectations with the remodelling of my bathroom and upgraded fireplace. The team and the process was very professional and collaborative and it was a pleasure to work with Liam and Mitch. They made sure that I was involved in every step of the process and were very customer focused. I can't say enough about their creativity, quality of work and perfectionism. They always arrived on time and worked hard to get the daily assignments completed, followed by a clean up at the end of the every day. I am so happy that I have found a contractor I can trust to do a great job and will definitely be engaging their services in the future.

My husband and I (I’m using his account to post this) hired Building Dreams to handle renovations on our 'dream home'. I had looked into different contractors and asked Mike (one of the owners) to take on our job within two weeks of purchasing the house.The scope of the project was large...to gut the existing bungalow and add two large additions including new basement space and a large covered porch in the front and back.Mike Valchuk was enthusiastic and excited for the job. Even before we committed to his company he had made us a recommendation for drawings with Charles Linsey and Associates…. and they designed exactly what we were looking for.We were very happy with our experience with Building Dreams. There are many companies and people out there who have the skills and experience to pull a job together. But in my opinion, what made this company different was the level of genuine communication and personal care for our home. Mike and I were constantly in contact and when there was an issue or problem we didn't anticipate, he would have a solution, recommendation or game plan. We hit a few snags along the way as any renovation does, but I was always left happy with how Mike worked with me to resolve the problem and make sure we were pleased with how things were progressing.Another thing we noticed (as we were very often on the job site) was the atmosphere with subcontractors and Mike's team. Everyone we encountered was happy to be there and worked towards ensuring the quality of work was something they would want done in their own home. Everyone was always on task but it was clearly a place people wanted to be. That speaks to leadership within the company and Mike as a person.This project was the biggest decision and undertaking we will potentially make our entire lives. A lot of money was spent and time and thought put into this…both on our sides as the homeowners and Mike and his crew to do the work. If I could go back I wouldn't change a thing. I would hire the company again, and I would personally ask Mike to lead the project all over again. Thanks to Building Dreams Contracting we have our forever home, and it was even better than we originally had imagined!
