Frilly Lilly

I booked in shortly before the new year for a Brazilian and underarm wax, a lash tint and lift, and a pedicure. The waxes were great, and the tint and lift was alright. The lady who did my tint and lift also did my pedicure, and this is where things got strange. She kept shout talking to the receptionist who is all the way across the salon. She kept referring to me as “this one” as in “who’s next after I’m done this one”. It’s not professional to be talking about patrons in front of them, it most certainly made me feel rushed and the quality of the pedicure showed that she was rushed and more concerned with her next appointments. She did not shape my toenails, I asked for them to be left longer but she made no effort to match the nail shapes or even touch them at all with a file. She seemed to be very stuffy and have a cold which was concerning how close she had been to my face during the last lift and tint.I’d go back for waxing the next time I’m in Alberta, that’s what frilly lilly does best. The additional services outside of waxing do not seem to be where this salons employees excel.

I just came back from my eyebrow waxing with Jessica, and it was wonderful! My brows look sooo good! She did such a great job, she made sure she didn't take off too much and checked in with me throughout to make sure we were on the same page about cleaning up those untamed hairs. The place was very clean and everyone was friendly. They had a nice little section of boutique jewelry and scrunchies and scarves and their own line of skincare on display. It was nice to look around at all the pretty things in the shop while waiting for my appointment. The price also wasn't too bad either. I definitely recommend!

Very professional and knowledgeable employees. Clean and bright establishment. You get to choose from multiple scrub scents and lotion scent which smell unreal! I chose tangerine scrub with lemon lotion. I felt very comfortable and not rushed. It is more expensive than a regular pedicure, well worth it though. I relaxed for almost an hour and a half during my service. Defiantly recommend Trish!

Lovely ladies are always fast and very friendly when I get waxed. They also make sure you’re doing okay and offer to stop if it hurts to much lol. I love coming here and haven’t had any complaints over the two years I’ve been a customer. Thank you Frilly Lilly!

I had a waxing appointment today with Jessica. She was very friendly and professional. I was running a few mins late for my appointment and even though we started off late she still took her time and was very thorough and informative about everything going on during the appointment. The atmosphere at Frilly Lilly is very relaxing and fun! Today was my first appointment with them and it certainly won't be my last! Highly recommend.

Trish is the best! Always look forward to seeing her whenever I am there for any of my services.

I have given myself sometime to clamp down. I got eyelash extensions on the 8th of December 22. The artist has no business doing extentions with the complete lack of experience. She should be at a professional lash business learning how to do extention before going on her own. I had a cat eye do e that was atrocious. The placement of the lashes were poor the glue was very heavy and clear lack of understanding what works well on what eye shape was obvious. The lashes were so long they sat on my lower lid. Some were glued together. After my appointment I immediately said I would like them removed as it was very poor quality. Thye agreed and scheduled me for the next day. When I woke up in the am large chunks of lashes had fallen out reassuring my decision that these lash extensions were poorly installed.The main problem I have is that my money was refunded but they had the disgusting audacity to charge me for the removal of their atrocious extension job. What company does poor quality work and then charges you to fix it.I am disgusted with this business.

Just had my first appointment with Rachel and she was just beyond amazing! She was so considerate and did such a good job, I barely felt any pain. I am super satisfied with the results and will definitely be coming back thanks to her!

Edit:Management was really nice to reach out and offer a fix, did not make me feel bad or uncomfortable about it. I really appreciate the offer to make things right.They used to do really great pedicures, but on my last couple I’ve had to get the polish redone and have not been happy with the actual pedicure, very expensive for what you get done now. My last pedicure I had to get redone because the polish stuck to my cuticles that didn’t get done and it peeled off. I explained this when I went to get them redone and the person who re did them was extremely rude and impatient about me being there and just wanted to be on her phone. I Asked about getting the cuticles done at least so it didn’t happen again and she said they didn’t need to be done. Well the polish did the same thing, was sitting on the cuticles and peeled off right away. To be honest it is not very relaxing to continue to go in and have them redone, that is a lot of time spent and very uncomfortable to feel like you are a nuisance or burden. I really wish I could have gotten them redone again properly or got a refund. Nearly $100 for a pedicure and to not be left happy about the experience is really unfortunate.
