TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

Usually nice but rude encounter with a clerk asking me “to speak in full sentences”??I understand misunderstanding can occur but there are nicer ways to address it I felt I unwelcomed but perhaps it was a language barrier from the employee. I was just confused about exchanging money for foreign currency.

They don’t even bother letting people know that they’re close absolutely unacceptable

Really bad experience with rudeness, arrogance, and incompetence.

The tellers need to be retrained. Yesterday I went there to close my account the teller was a young Asian guy. He asked me for my passport and said without my password he can't close my account. How crazy is that. Of course I didn't have my passport with me. I came back home and called TD and the person on the phone closed my account without asking for my passport. Hopefully, I am not going to deal with them anymore.

My main branch is downtown but since I live in NDG I do my banking at the Sherbrooke location. I have never had a negative experience at this bank (except for the time they were robbed). The staff is extraordinarily courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. I would like to extend kudos, in particular, to Ajmal and Rose, living, walking, talking examples of SUPERSTARS, if ever there were any. This bank should promote them, give them a raise, a GOLD star, a vacation, or whatever it is that banks do for exceptional employees.

Consistently great service for a bank as far as my experiences go (compared to some other places that have been actual nightmares to do banking with). The tellers have gone out of their way more than once to look into solutions when I had questions and concerns, and are also just a great help when I have a quick question about finances.

Double 00 stars , would be a better rating at this sherbrooke and Hingston branch in NDGThis is not the 1st terrible customer experience at this branch.There have been Many other simple matters in the past ,that even the all OFFICE STAFF were unable to handle professionally,including the manager.Manager’s door always closed even though I never see a client there each time I visit !The rest of the staff are clueless when it goes beyond deposit or withdrawal slip ! Went there the other day again for GIC rates ....teller didn’t even know what exactly was talking about...... After waiting 15 min , and informing herself with another 2 tellers , I never got to see the GIC rates , and she told me to go get them online.Frustrated, I told her that this is a suppose to be a bank ,and she should know what i’m talking about especially a GIC product, and She should be able to print me a interest rate sheet immediately as this is not a Coffee Shop! She insisted I get information online.The manager ( Massimo ) overheard me, and took the tellers side , and he told me I need an appointment to get the GIC rates!After a few minutes of discussing with him,and explaining to him all of the above incompetence I experience , I wasn't impressed with his poor attitude either, towards his clients.After all they are the ones paying his salary!Thats enough! Incompetent staff here ! Poor management. I took all my accounts out!I know that this location was a cinema theatre when I was in my teens , and they continue to treat it as such...a true COMEDY SHOWThe other TD branches reviews in the area are not any better . the TD bank should start traing there staff before they put them on the job.I couldn’t trust them with my money !Sent from AOL Mobile Mail

Teller was rude. I felt like I was being interrogated and judged for losing my credit and debit cards. Teller wasn't courteous. I felt like I was being asked unnecessary and personal questions about my work company. If they were procedures in retrieving my lost cards then it wasn't explained to me. I felt like I wasn't being talked to as a client. I felt like the teller was talking to me like I was her close friend and it was offputting. Was it because we had similar ages? I dont think that should change the way a client should be talked to differently from another. I will be reluctant to go back to this bank.
