Ive been a regular at Forbes for close to a decade now. The community has always been exceptional and the owner Jeremy and I have become close friends. One of my closest friends I made from the time I spent at Forbes playing games and hanging out with the people who make the store what it is. We've had April fools tournaments, food bank game nights, private thank you events, BBQs, you name it, Forbes has done it to keep the community strong.Jeremy and Megan have a huge breadth of knowledge regarding a wide scope of hobbies and love talking with people about their passions. It doesn't matter if you're new to a hobby or a seasoned veteran there's people there to help, share and discuss any and everything that you enjoy and show you other things you may be interested in.You won't find a better place to escape for a few minutes to a few hours playing games, painting, building or just spending time with like minded people.

Joined a group D&D game on a weekday night. Been there once so far but the store seems nice and clean. I could see the owner coming across as mean, but he seemed to warm up as the night went on. But the main thing is the tables were clean, the room is well lit, and they have some beverages available to buy while you game. Can't complain! I had a great time.

Hi there, haven't been to your store yet, however, just by reading the reviews, I have had myself a right laugh! Many people may find your method of ownership rude or sassy but as long as I get what I need, I don't mind what you say. I intend on visiting soon for a look at some military models and hope to find something of interest to me. But for right now, I'll keep entertaining myself with these reviews! See you in person soon.

Knowledgable staff, tons of modelling supplies & a wide variety of kits. Plus, convenient street parking out front for free! One of the only stores that will help you with any questions, from beginner level to master. Run by people passionate about the hobby, beautifully organized as well with lots of completed models and memorabilia decorating the store. You can even learn to airbrush here! Always worth a visit.

My favourite go-to place for MTG cards and a good day out. Jeremy and Meagan have such a thorough and rich knowledge on anything in the store you can think of, and it's such an amazing community spot to play cards, games, or even just get supplies. 10/10 will always shop again

It has been a long while since I visited a hobby shop since bees and aquariums take most of my time. Recently, I started model building again and stopped in to get some stuff I needed. Huge selection of military models and scenery stuff for a smaller store and a massive amount of paints, which is what I was after. They basically had a full stock of tamiya, AK, and vallejo paints. Discontinued testors were all 15% off as well. Definitely check them out for a massive paint selection. The lady greeted me upon arrival, offering assistance and assured me all the paints I was buying were indeed lacquer and which of the ones in stock were acrylic. Now it's time to get some weathering, rust, and mud added to my t-62 build with Sam 6 to build next.

If your into card games this is a long time community establishment. Just spent some time talking to the owner Jeremy. He is very knowledgeable in card games but also rc stuff. They don't sell rc stuff anymore tho. I got a feeling ill be in the store lots more often. Just a great vibe in there

I went into Forbes on August 3rd looking to get into Military Model building and I couldn’t thank Forbes enough for assisting me with all the products I’d need! The gentleman at the counter even said the staff would be willing to give assistance in person if I was to bring in my kit + supplies! Friendly environment as well. Very laid back environment and from the looks of it plenty of board game tables and figures as well! This will be my go to shop for model supplies.
