Unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience at the Simmons Rooftop. The food was mediocre at best, the wait staff missed drinks and food on the orders. Once it was brought to their attention the drinks were wrong they asked us to just drink the wrong ones as opposed to fixing it. Our table had completed our meal before our friend received her burger after asking 3 separate staff members about it. The manager came over and made our meal extremely uncomfortable by asking and commenting on our private conversation (evesdropping) - so sad because the views are beautiful…

Such a unique place to have your family and friends together! We were in Calgary for a day and came there for lunch. That was such a great lunch. Highly recommend!

Nice looking place inside and has a coffee shop, meat shop and restaurant all in 1.BUT the brunch and dinner menus are very basic.Not worth the prices.I ordered the eggs benny and the sauce was just too much and the fries too salty.I wouldnt recommend it and i wont go back.If ur jist going for drinks then sure this is the place for u as its next to the river and nice pathways. Has a patio as well for the summer.

Beautiful century+ year old building. Filled with incredible coffee bars and restaurants. The history is incredible, as is it's flair from old times long gone past. It's great to grab a coffee or breakfast here, and just let time flow around you. The location is perfect in the summer to enjoy breakfast outside too

Check out Sidewalk citizen for great sourdough sandwiches as well as Phil & Sebastian's cafe for great coffee. Order the Flat white coffee and the curry chicken sourdough.

The Simmons Factory Warehouse, built in 1912, is a two-storey, brick structure adorned with historic painted signage. The property is situated on the eastern edge of downtown Calgary in the East Village neighbourhood, on the bank of the Bow River.
