Bad parking options and prices are higher than their sister stores and the deli meat was extremely dry and looked like it had been there for too long so won’t be going back as nobody was approachable to help for asking for specific directions on items but I’m pretty sure someone would probably be following to ensure you don’t shoplift as I’ve e heard they profile for that. They need to work on customer service and fresh quality!

Stopped in to grab some mochi ice cream. Had such a wonderful conversation with Paul at checkout. Will definitely be coming back to this location, the customer service is outstanding.

The PriceSmart sign beckons you right before you make a right turn , going up Kingsway, to the major shopping outlets. Not nearly as big as the SS grocery store, in the mall, and a lot nicer atmosphere.I believe it is a smaller outlet related to Save-On Foods, ( I do stand to be corrected) with the same sparkle and friendliness of staff.Prices are a little high, but if you pack a free loyalty card" in your arsenal

This is one of two Price Smart stores. The other is in Richmond. This location may not he as large as the Richmond store but it is well stocked with Asian foods as well as western foods. Store is conveniently located in Metrotown with buses and skytrain nearby. If you drive there is underground parking garage.

My husband and I went out to run some errands together and wanted a quick, simple lunch afterwards. We ended up at Pricesmart Foods in Burnaby and ordered a couple of dishes from the hot foods area plus a box of California Rolls.Who would ever guess that one could eat so well at a supermarket? This food wasn't just decent, it was actually very good. I think I enjoyed this food more than food I've eaten in a lot of restaurants. To begin with, I was really impressed to see that they had a Vegetarian Shanghai Noodle dish. Shanghai Noodles are usually served with shredded pork. These Shanghai Noodles from Pricesmart Foods were the first ones I've ever seen that are Vegetarian; I found them not in a Vegetarian restaurant, but a supermarket of all places! Eggplant and tofu were very tasty. The amount of rice used for the California Rolls wasn't excessive; the rolls were huge and packed with ingredients.They are also a very good supermarket to shop at. Today I had their Chinese takeout for lunch. The noodles, especially the rice flat noodles tasted and smelled really funny. I could definitely tell this wasn’t prepared today as the texture of the noodles themselves were way too soggy and mushy. Perhaps this was from the day before. It wasn’t like this previously but I’m staying away from this hot food section from now on.

My latest visit to this store was pleasantly surprised with the customer service at self checkout. The girl took the extra effort to make sure I can use the coupon that I have and she was very friendly and polite. Compared to the customer service at the Richmond store, it was night and day. Compliments to the cashier head and store manager that provided excellent leadership and training for their front line staff.

Very good dim sum kitchen and friendly staff serving the food. However the availability of food items and their opening hour are highly inconsistent. I just wish it was more standardized so that I could plan my trip to the store knowing what that certain items would be available.

Love this grocery store!! Deliciousness everywhere at a great value and always really good deals on here!One of the best Asian grocery stores I visit and always has yummy goods. The bakery always looks, smells and tastes incredible and they also Sushi, Chinese food bars offering fresh snacks to go.They also offer More Rewards offers which is super convenient.

Nice store with variety of Asian foods and exotic fruits. Also good hot food deli options. I wish they had more vegetarian options though.
