Centennial Hall

Been here several years for my daughters dance competition. One of the better venues. Lots of comfortable seating and plenty of space for changing rooms etc. parking next door is ample and the park across the street is great to pop out for fresh air.

Public access to entertainment venues such as Centennial Hall play a big role in big picture of community building. This space was great draw for families and their talented youth to perform.

We went to see Dr Jordan Peterson and the staff was very nice. The thing is, there were posters asking the audience not to record or film the lecture literally on every wall and yet the we saw many staff members filming the conference on more than one occasion. Sound was good and restrooms were clean.

Great staff, wonderful acoustics. Sight lines to the stage from the front two rows of the balcony are poor, I would up standing several times to see. Thankfully the rows behind me were empty so I wasn’t obscuring someone else’s view.

The upper balcony seats are ridiculously tight especially if you are seated next to a large person. The sound quality is also terrible in upper section. One debit machine shared between all serving staff and then no debit at upstairs bar? Finally the drink selection is terrible, all seltzer from a can or craft beer or beer from a cooler keg. How after so many years has this venue not invested in an actual tap at least and perhaps get a few more options of canned cocktails if you won’t mix drinks. However, I’m very grateful this venue gets some great comedians and interesting artists it’s too bad they don’t care so much about their guests comfort and experience

Seen the one and only Jimmy Carr with my son and had such a great time! The staff was very helpful and friendly with helping to find our seats and answer our questions and of course the show was absolutely hilarious!This was the first big show we've attended since all the lockdowns from covid happened. We would love to return to see more comedy shows for sure.Thanks to all the staff, great work

Sound quality here can be hit and miss with music concerts but good with stand up comedians. Great venue with not a bad seat in the house, unless you get stuck behind someone tall as the seats on the floor are all one level. Do not park at the venue. It takes almost forever to get out of the lot.

As back stage manager for Dance Attack, I have had the honour of working with the crew from Centennial Hall twice over the last two months. By far, they are the best team to work with. Organized, supportive, helpful and to me the most important, kindhearted! These are just some of the amazing qualities that I witnessed this weekend! You all rock! The venue was fine but the experience is what made it. Postmodern Jukebox really brought it to life.The seats were decently comfortable and didn't feel crammed. I might be going deaf at certain tones or the acoustics weren't perfect. Little bit of column a&b.
