Big Four Building

Absolute WORST venue I have ever been to. Drove 7 hours to see one of my favorite bands, showed up at 6, show to start at 7...waited in line for an hr and 18 minutes in the -15 cold and snow AND missed 3/4 of the band I drove 7 hours to see. Absolutely ridiculous. I've been to a hell of a lot of different venues and shows and have never had this happen...what a waste. Stop hosting concerts if you can't handle the crowd and refunds should definitely be given.

Thousands of people waiting in a 1 km long line around the building to get into 1 SINGLE open door with 2 TICKET SCANNERS in -15C weather!Shivering outside I could hear the music I paid to watch being played in the venue above my head for over an HOUR. We missed nearly HALF the show just waiting to get in. THEN the lines for drinks and food were SO slow it took THIRTY minutes in line to get 1 little water for 6$ ??How is this fair?

First time there, waited a hour to even get into the concert. Missed the first 1 and half acts there because we waited in line for over a hour to even get into the building. Tickets need to be refunded, also only 4 bartenders for over 1000 people. Complete rip off

Overall good conference facilities and even though an older building; well maintained. Elevator is rather slow tho. Facilities and rented services for exhibitors are however charged out at an astronomical rate.

Big Four is the worst venue I have ever been to. People were stuck waiting outside for 2+ hours with -15 temperatures while there was plenty of space inside to keep more people warm. Security/staff was horribly inefficient, disorganized, and understaffed. By the time we FINALLY got through the line the concert was half done, causing us to miss the one band we were most excited to see. We arrived 30 minutes before showtime since that's the maximum it has ever taken me to get into a venue before, what a joke. When we finally get into the hall, there are 3 large pillars which block large sections of the stage about 40 feet from the stage, which largely limits view for people in the back. The acoustics are also pretty awful and the floor bounced when the crowd was jumping. Overall I feel like people are owed a refund, and the worst part is that half the bands will likely not return since there was a tiny crowd for them to play to, we were all outside freezing our butts off instead of having a good time. What a disappointment.

Tremendous venue for a company party. Great food and a great sound system. I look forward to the next time I get to enjoy this place.

Was a seller in the Artist Alley of Calgary Fan Expo for my 2nd year in a row and the place looks gorgeous. Nice place and ambience with the lights and all.

Good place for conventions and job fairs! The employees are very friendly and helpful.Lots of parking available however you have to pay for parking!

This was the most disorganized event I have ever been to. We waited outside for almost an hour in -15 temperatures (I was concerned for most people’s limbs freezing who understandably didn’t wear heavy winter clothes to a sweaty concert) with an incredibly slow moving line. When we got inside the line continued for another half an hour. There were two ticket scanners which were having a hard time scanning the tickets which seemed to be the real hold up. There were thousands of people attending but two people scanning tickets. We missed half the show. If you wanted to have anything to drink good luck, the line up for that was painfully slow as well. Overall it seemed like every part of the process was severely understaffed. I am very hesitant to attend another event at this venue.

First time watching an event here during stampede. Huge room and had lots of bars so didn't have to worry about lineups. They had two mechanical bulls setup for ppl to try. We went to watch Kevin Costner and his band perform. Didn't even know he had a band but the show was pretty good and fun.
