Really enjoyed this small, rustic and warm restaurant. Relaxed atmosphere, casuaEnjoyed the food, simple, fresh ingredients. Loved the bruschetta, the warm bread and drizzled oliveiyt oil + balsamic was lovely and balanced.Pasta was plentiful, creamy and hearty. The cream / egg carbonara sauce was delicious - not heavy where we couldn't finish the plate.Overall, decent portions and good prices. Decent and quick service. The small space made the ambient a little loud (voice and music).

The food was not seasoned well, small menu, not worth the cost. The ribeye steak was the only good tasting item yet not the 20oz they say it is. Customer service was great though.

Myself, my wife and our staff of approximately 20, visited this amazing Italian restaurant for our work Christmas party.Prior to booking, the owner was more than patient and flexible with us. Given the broad menu options for the dinner, he was extremely helpful and offered some great recommendations to assist us.The food turned out to be spectacular and the atmosphere was perfect for the dynamic of our little group. Each and every Rugantino employee went above and beyond for us that night. As a result the entire evening was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone involved. Your team's hard work and amazing attitudes made the evening extremely enjoyable. Paired with the amply portioned spread of authentic Italian cuisine, it all turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I'll definitely be returning for any future functions.Thanks Again.

Very nice service, quiet and cozy atmosphere, and killer food. Great place to go for a date when you want something a little fancier, and it doesn't really break the bank either.

Had an excellent dinner here on a Friday night. Our server was Chloe and she was fantastic. The pizza and pasta dishes did not disappoint. We had the rapini pizza to start with cocktails and shared the carbonara and gnocchi bolognese pasta dishes. Finished it off with their home made tiramisu. Wonderful little spot which we will visit again. Would also be great takeout as the dishes would travel well.

Really good food. The gnocchi was delicious and my partner's meal was wonderful as well. I think he had seafood pasta. We also got the charcuterie board as an app abd that was amazing! The salami had a wonderful taste.

First experience at this restaurant. Its a boutique style restaurant; intimate and popular space.We had calamari, mussels and this great portobello mushroom dish. The service was well kept and food tasted delicious. Also, enjoyed italian coffee!Reccommend this place!Business casual attire atmosphere

Wow, absolutely blown away with this hidden gem! If you enjoy eating amazing, fresh, well prepared food then you must try this place. Everything we ordered was perfect and the service was perfect as well and we can't wait to come back!

Amazing food and definitely worth the wait to get a reservation. The quality of ingredients definitely shines through on every dish. This is 100 the best Italian food in the GTHA!

Bruschetta was fine, but pasta was not fresh, sauce was oily and lacked flavour. Likely my one and only time as there are many better alternatives on Locke.
