Imperial Motel

We were traveling and it was getting late. Contacted them and she waited up for us. We were very happy with our room and it was very well located. We were able to continue on our trip extremely well rested. Thank you.

While you don't expect a lot from a budget motel this place was worse than expected. Had it not been so late we would have looked for another room somewhere else. We even had to go to the front desk to ask for toilet paper. When I got the room I wrongly assumed that rooms were non-smoking but that was my mistake. There's nothing worse than a stale smoke smell - regardless we were way too tired to go somewhere else so we just dealt with it. To be fair, the front desk person was very nice and welcoming and if you're okay with a smoking room then this place will be kind to your budget.

The bad: the floor was dirty, the pillows were so small they seemed like throw cushions, bed was hard, but you sink in when you lie on it. The bedside table had dirt, hair, dust and somebody's dirty sock!! The good: room was big, there was a full sized fridge, microwave, stove and coffee maker, 2 beds and pet friendly, convenient location.

The owners of this establishment were very nice people however, the room was not very clean. The worst part was the bathroom for cleanliness. The bed was from the 70s or early 80s I'm sure and hard as a rock. This place was far from being worth the 100 dollars I spent to stay there. I've stayed in way nicer places for less. The owners obviously do not have a high cleaning standard, nor do they maintain anything.

This place was never glamorous but it used to be okay. It has seen many years since then and had little to no maintenance. New management acts friendly enough but does not seem very good.First night- No running water for 3 hours. I guess these things happen, they did fix it.Next morning. I realize that the door between my room and the adjacent one was not locked. Not wanting random people in my room I called the front desk after I left to have them lock it(did not have key). I have to work and leave early so I was not there when they did it but I returned at the end of the day to my main door to my room wide open. Laptop, valuables visible to the outside and the room was freezing.Later that night. At about 8PM people showed up and started partying in the room below. Did not stop until about 2 or 3AM. Constant loud conversation and slamming doors called front desk and 12AM but they did nothing.Beds are variable but the one I am on it awful. Generally rooms are cleanish but have seen little or no change since the 70-80s.Avoid.

Very nice owner! But, when we showed up the first room we went to the door was wide open and the bolt lock was busted out of the wall. We asked to switch rooms and he did without hesitation. 2nd room felt safer but still could hear everything & weird stains on the bed & wall.. if it wasn’t the only hotel with vacancy we probably would’ve just switched

Recently renovated is a bit of a stretch. The bathroom is nice and there is new laminate floors but that’s where it ends.The walls are very dirty, furniture is very very old and mismatched. The bed is at least 30 years old and might as well be concrete.There is a new stove in the kitchenette but unfortunately no pots or pans or anything to cook with. Not even a toaster

The plus is they have a stove and the beddings and towels are clean.The downside though, some burners were missing on the stove. The showers tiles were broken and the tub was paint was peeling off. The room smelled like smoke even though there is a no smoking sign that says they will charge you a purifying fee if caught smoking. They seems to just shove 8 air fresheners into the ac unit and call it purified. The smoke detectors are missing, seems like a safety hazard there. The rates are cheap but I've never been to a motel with as low standards as these guys.

It's winter. They knew an hour in advance that I was arriving and no one bothered to even turn on the heat. Took me too long to warm up and get a good sleep.The suite door has a cheap lock and about a 1/8 gap to outside. ❄☃️❄I had to cover as much as I could by hanging a towel using part of the curtain rod.Their 'Shampoo/ Cream rinse packages have an expiry day of 2017"

For starters, the door locks are no more than a handle lock and a safety chain. Heat comes from a base board, which really doesn't heat the room.Bathroom is in need of a spruce up. In general, the whole room itself could use a good clean and paint.If it wasn't so late in the day, and fact that it was a long drive home, we would have chosen somewhere else to stay.
