My review has been a long time coming as I have been visiting Lisa regularly for more than a year now.She does my lash extensions, manicures, pedicures and has also done by brow and lash line tattoos.Before visiting Lisa for lash extensions for the first time, I had gotten them done only twice over the years with another local, highly reviewed lash technician. My experience had been that of painful, burning eyes and an appointment full of anxiety because the tape on my bottom lash was painful pressing into my eye. I had thought that it was me and it was just what I had to go through should I want to have lash extensions. I decided to try the lashes again with Lisa after receiving a pedicure from her. Leading up the appointment, I took something to relax and brought headphones to distract me from my expected anxiety. Turns out I had nothing to worry about at all! No painful tape and no issues at all except gorgeous lashes. Needless to say, I've become a recurring lash customer and am hooked!Lisa is extremely professional and dedicated to her work. She's a perfectionist and takes pride in her work and making sure everyone is happy. The space and decor (designed by Lisa herself) is unlike anything I've seen on the North Shore. It's an amazing space for group events as well.Even though Lisa and her work are both amazing, one of the best parts is being greeted by sweet little Rocky, Lisa's French Bulldog, when I arrive. I miss him whenever he isn't there! After a quick hello, he just lazes around and sleeps during the appointment - what a life!I highly encourage you to visit Urban Glo Beauty Lounge for any of your beauty needs. I hope to someday have the opportunity to get my hair and makeup done as well for an event as the work looks stunning!

I'm pretty darn late with posting this review.... but Lisa and her crew are amazing!We had our wedding celebration in August with our close family and friends with Urban Glo doing my bridesmaids & my hair & makeup.Super relaxed and fun, spectacular results and very happy girls (;I definitely suggest booking your wedding hair & makeup with Urban Glo! <3

This is the very very worst manicure that I had in my life. I’m not sure why lots of people rated it five stars and this place has a rating of four point 9 stars?!!We wanted to have the manicure, we visited Tuesday. We asked for the appointment and she accepts walk-ins. We went for the manicure, the very very worst part of the experience is that there was a dog inside of the salon. The dog was scary. I tried to touch the dog gently, but the dog want to touch me, instead of touching me in a very gentle way, the dog wounded my left knee. The dog did not know how to touch me. And now, the story of the manicure: all I wanted was the basic manicure without the color, the Asian woman wants to do the manicure, instead of doing her work very professionally, she rushed her work a lot and she wounded my nail instead of doing her work professionally. I still feel that my nail is rough, she did not even clean my nail. I highly highly recommend that please stay away from this place. Do not spend your money. My mom was also dissatisfied about the manicure. She had an appointment today at 11 AM for the pedicure, but she decided to not go to the pedicure because she was also dissatisfied about the manicure. The very very worst part about scheduling the pedicure and the walk in manicures: the woman in the salon did not even asked for my name or my mom’s name. They did not even asked for phone number, they did not ask anything. Very strange!! We spent $40, but we are dissatisfied. The one Star review will help you and your team to improve the quality of the work and professionalism. I’m sure you will all find a better manicure places in North Vancouver area.

Great experience at this one stop beauty lounge in the heart of North Vancouver. Been here a few times now, and I will continue to come back. Lisa,, who does most services, is very welcoming and personable, making the experience even better. The salon itself is clean and esthetically pleasing. It is on the more pricey side, but what isn't these days?! Services also take a longer time, but Lisa does a good job and ensures you are happy when you leave. Love everything about this place :)

Lisa was great - super friendly to chat with and very professional. She did a nail extension to my very short nails which then allowed them to grow out, and then several weeks later we did a manicure on my real nails which looks amazing. So many compliments. And she did eyelash extensions which have also had many compliments. highly recommend.

I'm in Love with UrbanGlo Beauty Lounge the space is elegant, clean and bright! I got eyelash extensions two weeks ago and came back for a fill today. They are gorgeous thanks for listening to what I wanted Lensa. Light and simple just how I like them. I would like to thank the owner too for being attentive and efficient. I'm very pleased with the services at UrbanGlo, have had the shellac manicure and lash extensions done. Lisa is attentive and has many years of experience behind her. Would recommend to everyone!

A fantastic experience! My husband and I got manicures and pedicures, and the services were great. Lisa even helped talk my husband into his first every foray into wearing polish, and he’s loving the look. Her attention to detail was excellent, she took her time and did everything well, and as a result, our nails look amazing. We also just adored Rocky, Lisa’s French Bulldog!

My mom and I went in together for pedicures and had an amazing experience! I haven’t had a pedicure since prior to the pandemic and was determined to find the perfect place to go. I wanted something that wouldn’t have a busy, rushed vibe and UrbanGlo was exactly what I had hoped for. Lisa is super friendly and welcoming and provided an excellent pedicure. My feet look so much better than before and it was overall so pleasant and relaxing. The location is great too cause you’re right on the water at the Shipyards. I also love Rocky, Lisa’s french bulldog! He is adorable and definitely added to the experience for me. I will definitely be back since it was the best pedicure I’ve had ♡
