James Prigione Goaltending Academy

Good variety of skills, instructor to goalie ratio is low and keeps it fun and interesting.

James worked with my son this season (2019-2020) and I noticed a difference after every session. Nolan's positioning, stance , speed and focused continually improved all season. He had both private and semi private sessions, the semi privates were equally valuable. I highly recommend Prigione Goaltending. I can add we had 12 shutouts this year (between the goalies he coached :) )

As a goalie mom it was amazing to see how James connects with young goalies. He presents and breaks down skills and drills in different ways for different age groups adapting for everyone so they got the most out of each practice. While having one on one training sessions my son Bryce was taught a very high level of skills, James also motivated Bryce and gave him a level of confidence that I’ve never seen before. While working with James Bryce became more agile and flexible in the net. James taught Bryce to have patience and how to watch the play which improved his game play significantly. James has a special way about him which motivates the goalies he works with to work hard but have fun at the same time. Any goalie that is lucky to have James as a coach will learn from one of the best!

My son has been fortunate to work with James in both group and 1v1 sessions. James has been instrumental in developing and enhancing my son's goaltending abilities from puck handling and rebound control to goal positioning and glove, blocker and stick work and helping prepare him for competitive hockey. He is highly effective in training goaltenders at both a high skill level as well as beginner goaltenders. James has a friendly and positive attitude and always encourages his goalies to do their best.

James worked with the goalies for our Minor Bantam AE team in Centre Wellington this past season. James is a fantastic instructor, the way he interacts with the goals keeps it fun and the boys engaged. I'd highly recommend the James Prigione Goaltending Acadamey. Thanks James!
