SC Sports Hamilton

You guys didn’t answer the phone 5 times we called but Google said you where open!Drove all the way from Delhi to find out there wasn’t any football stuff.I’m sure this stores a five star place for hockey and baseball players

I happened to be in Hamilton today and decided to stop in. Glad I did! I was impressed by their selection of ball stuff! Not many options here in Durham Region, plus the big chain stores seem more interested in clothing these days. I found a couple of slo-pitch items at SC that I’d only seen online elsewhere. Prices were great and staff was friendly.

Went in to buy skates. For context I’m a 30 year old non skater with no idea about anything who’s been burned by certain chain stores before.Rick was in the store. Wasn’t super busy. I told him the situation and he sat me down took measurements and walked me through the different tiers of skates and different fits.We then tried on a bunch. He did not try to upsell me. I told him my budget and he stuck with it. Gave me a bunch of info, taught me how to tie. Was patient and knowledgeable.Walked out with a pair of skates I’m finally happy with, within my budget, and a pretty good experience all around.5 stars. Definitely coming back here again.

Very good experience.Just had to be patient to get answers, since it's a busy place; but I'm glad that I did.The owner is very honest and gave good advice.Unfortunately they didn't have the right match for me in my budget, but definitely worth checking in here before going anywhere else to get a pair of ice skates (& other equipment).They also have good second chance equipment, which are gently used and good for someone giving a 1st try and don't want to spend a lot.

Went in there to sell some used hockey equipment, store was clean and organized with lots to choose from, was given a generous cash offer for my equipment with a friendly smile from the owner. Highly recommended!

Great place to find deals on all types of sport equipment. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. I always come here to look for/purchase what i need before trying the big box stores and am never disappointed.

We had one of the best experiences ever, Mr. Rick (sorry if the spelling is not correct) is the best business owner/sales person I've ever seen. He spent a lot of time helping us with skating gear for my son, very patient, an honest person. I wish we had more people like him. They didn't have the size that we needed, but Rick provided us with helpful information. I would definitely go there in the future and I shared the store information with my friends. Great man who runs store! Helped me try on a couple goalie chestys, I’m happy with my purchase at a great price! Very mobile and light weight unit! This store has been around for a while I’ve grown up coming here and would recommend to anyone! Way better then the big box stores & support local sport shops in the Hamilton mountain area! Thanks for being the best over the years!

Absolutely the best place to go for sports equipment and service. If you know, you know, and you go here….This is the second generation of kids that I am now taking to SC Sports. Why? Because, they know and care about the what they sell to you. They want you to excel and have the best experience. Not the most expensive experience.Truly, go in have a conversation. Let them know what level you or your child is playing at. They will steer you in the right direction. Then it’s your personal choice on what you purchase. They just guide you. Not everyone will be an all-star in the big leagues. But they sure will be treated that way here.Love these folks and would go no other place. Why?
