Nursery Les Diamants De Somerled

Diamants is an amazing daycare with loving, fun, attuned, and nurturing educators. The director, Leyda, is very responsive and always present in the daycare. She cares deeply about the kids' social and locomotor development, emotional wellbeing, their safety, and that they have fun (Leyda herself is the human embodiment of fun). The educators plan fun extra-curricular activities for the kids (weekly French language, music, dance, and yoga classes) and gets them outside to the park at least once per day, most days they go twice (weather permitting). Through COVID I have not once worried about whether or not the daycare is doing enough to protect themselves and the kids and have been very creative in making sure that the kids have a fun and safe place to play and learn in. I cannot say enough good things about this daycare, but the last thing I will say is that our kid loves it there too, so much so that at home in the evening she asks to see the daily photos and videos that the educators share on the parent's private FB page. She loves to look at those photos and tell me her friend's names and what they were doing together that day. When she can't remember/doesn't know the name of one of her peers, she just says friend". I think that's probably the best review we can give it."

We absolutely adored our 2+ years at Les Diamants de Somerled. The educators are simply fantastic. I was blown away by their level of connection and engagement with the children. They always ensured the children got outside to burn energy and have fun and were always coming up with new and creative projects for the kids. I especially loved the director who brought a wonderful energy to the facility, keeping it fun and welcoming. She is also incredibly responsive and patient with parent requests, which was appreciated always, but definitely a life saver in the early days of adjusting to daycare. All in all a wonderful place, filled with loving people and terrific facilities. We have so many great memories of our time there.

Amazing daycare. We've been there for 2 years now. They are taking good care of our kid and always go above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and answer all our questions. They have a lot of extra activities: dance and music classes, field trips.They always stay open, except for public holidays. The food is delicious. It's very clean and spacious.

I only have the most amazing things to say about GDDS. As a parent, you are wired to worry about your child 24/7, but the smile my daughter has on her face when I pick her up from daycare every day melts a few of my worries away.The director and staff go above and beyond to ensure that the kids are happy, healthy and have a great place to learn. Their weekly curriculum and activities are always a lot of fun and the lunches are delicious (even for my picky eater)!They are truly a little family and have welcomed mine since day one. If you are looking for a daycare that will look out for your little as you would, look no further!

Best professionals. Our son grew up there and all is amazing. The price isn't cheap, but it worth it!

I have been with this daycare for the pass 6 years. This daycare has been amazing for our us. They have become an extended family.I recommend it 100%..... Leyda and the educators are loving and caring.

Les diaments was my daughter’s second home, and now that we had to move to another daycare, I even value it more.- It’s very clean, all day long.- The educational program is smooth and effective.- Educators are cooperative with parents.- Leyda -the director- is a very caring and active person.- They have a unique and simple method to keep the parents reassured all day, a private fb group where they post photos of the children’s daily activities.The ontly thing that I would say that Les diaments needs is Francophone educators, it’s almost 100% Anglophone.I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I were looking all over for a daycare. We had registered with la place 0-5 when my wife was pregnant and we were getting worried that we might not find one in time before she needed returned to work during these crazy pandemic times. I can't say enough how lucky we were to have found Les Diamants de Somerled. As first time parents we were terrified of sending our little daughter to daycare, after all this was the longest we would have been apart since she was born! It's safe to say, Leyda and her incredible staff of warm and welcoming educators made it that much easier for us. They completely understood the worries that come with dropping off your little one and helped us through the entire process, reassuring us along the way and going above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable. We are so thankful and can't imagine our little girl going anywhere else!

This is a wonderful daycare! We sent our son at 11 months old and I was a nervous wreck! Leyda, the Director, is so warm and welcoming. She sent me daily photos and videos to ease all my worries. All of the educators are so professional and friendly. They went out of their way to say 'hello' to my son every day and he quickly fell in love with each of them. The children are all happy and in capable and loving hands. Highly recommended!
