Route 99 Diner
Step back in time and dine at Route 99. They have a 1950's diner motif and down home cooking. This place is definitely an Edmonton landmark that has been in business for decades. The meals are hearty and very filling with generous portions. The service is great and prices are reasonable.

Been wanting to come to this place for awhile. Fell in love with the decor inside and the friendliness of the server. You can tell this place is well loved as we came 15 minutes after opening and it was already quite full. Delicious food and good serving size.

Great food cooked properly everytime. We went on Father's Day, it was steady busy, waitresses had full sections but still maintained their rounds. Need to remind myself to pick out a dessert from the display for home before I leave next time.

It was OK, yes just OK. the hashbrowns were horrible. I wouldn't go again. It all had a taste of peppers and onions, gross, I don't want all my food to take like something I don't like.

Very decent diner food. I went old school with a beef & barley soup to start and liver and onions main course. The other meal was a vegetarian pizza (I know it’s weird). The soup was good. Liver was great and the fries were overcooked. The pizza was cold upon arrival at the table. The service was excellent and the charm of the old diner can’t be dismissed.

There was a line out the door, the parking lot was full and once you got in, the place was freezing.Food came quickly and was so-so. Not the best breakfast food I've had, but portions were good and the price reflects what you get.Servers were awesome, but there weren't enough of them for how busy it was. Had to ask for coffee refills. They came for the refill after I finished my meal.I'm surprised the place was as busy as it was. Honestly, if you want a great breakfast experience at a local diner, try Haps on the west end. They're fantastic.

Very good breakfast! Parking lot was a little tight but we managed to find a spot. Eggs Benedict was fantastic as was the farmers breakfast. Pancakes were very fluffy and crispy and one of the best I’ve had around the city. Highly recommended.
