Alan's Laundromat - Brand New Double & Triple Washers

The owner really needs to update his laundry facilities. Over half of them don't work. It's a shame to go in and have to wait over 30 minutes to use a washer or dryer because only 2 out of 20 work right. Please also keep the change unit up to par because having to wait over 20 minutes for you to supply change for us to use the units is really upsetting.The place is really dirty as well, it could be an easy upkeep if the owner took about 30 minutes our of his day to mange the facility.

Broken machines..gradations of pay for water temperature. Definately for the self serve only.

We had some issues loading coins into the machine so we called Alan who responded promptly and fixed everything perfectly. Very personable young man and we appreciate his help. Thank you Alan. We will be going again soon.

This place is beyond disgusting. The carpeting is torn and covered in stains. Half of the machines are out of order. When the machines break, they get a post it note stuck on them saying that they’re broken and they usually end up falling off. The last time I was in, the couches were damp for whatever reason. I tried using the bathroom there and the toilet was overflowing the paper towels, there was urine on the floor, there was no toilet paper in sight and it looked as if someone had thrown up in the sink. I’m honestly surprised that this place is still open for business. Do yourself a favour, and drive an extra 20 minutes to the Almonte laundromat!! 0/5 stars.

Most of the machines are out of order or do a poor job making you have to another load to rewash what was just washed. When contacting the “owner”.regarding the machines not doing what they are suppose to or them eating money you will either get a condescending tone response via text or completely ignored as why would Alan refund you when he has a gambling addiction and it’s easier to keep your money. The place is dirty and dusty even though he “cleans” and does that in the middle of the day when he has put up signs stating for peoples safety that the cleaning would be done after hours.Given the amount of dust around the dryers feels like a fire hazard and I’m surprised he’s still open for business and passes fire inspections. I’ve given this laundromat and Alan too many chances to make things right but now I’m done. Fix the machines and make things right with your customers or you’ll lose them all.

I used the machines at this laundry mat and my coins got stuck in the machine. I called the owner and he was very unpleasant. I will in the future drive to Ottawa if I have to use a laundry mat again. Unprofessional, dirty and half the machine's are broken. Yikes

Too bad this laundromat is so poorly maintained. Had to use this temporarily and feel bad for those who depend on it on a regular basis. The washroom is disgusting, dirty, no toilet tissue or paper towels. The overall cleanliness of the facility is really poor and the customer waiting area could use some seating repairs.

Machines work great, does the job. The chairs are broken and couch is questionable to sit on so if you do not have anywhere else to sit while you wait (this is your heads up) but I'm not there for the atmosphere lol the prices are reasonable and it's nice to have a visual count down on the machines of how much longer you have left on your laundry, opposed to other places where it's a guessing game! Oh, one down side I don't know how often the washrooms are maintained, I haven't yet seen it clean enough for using personally so I tend to walk down the street to the Tim Hortons if need be.

The washing machines worked great for me but the dryers were not drying properly. The bathroom could use some TLC and updating. The drink machine needs to be fixed or updated the drinks were hot and not one note to advise on the situation so that was quite frustrating.

This place is disgusting, if the machines aren't working, they are not signed properly and they wouldn't refund an 8$ cycle that I couldn't use. A good business would have refunded and properly marked the machine as out of service. I plan on making complaints to the BIA.
