I have been loving take out from here lately! Sooo fresh and hot it's been amazing! Always great service and the owner is so sweet.

Got it as is my favorite Chinese restaurant and was kind of disappointed. It certainly wasn't the same as when it was open for eat in. Do not blame them as I think having no in restaurant feedback is the key here. That being said that certainly is no excuse. It was bland. Will this dictate me eating their food? No, not this time but not saying it will not change my thoughts next time. Sadly it is by far my favorite place and not cheap either. Paying for good food is one thing but paying for alright food makes me speak out. Them being short staffed may not help but tasting the food would cure it. Their eggrolls were the best but just alright.All in all if I were them I would take any feedback and make improvements as needed can only show you are trying.I am giving 4 stars for now which will go either way depending on the next order.UPDATEWell tried again May 18_22 and still the same as above but found out they will not be reopening dining room anytime soon as they have no cook I was told. This explains a lot with the bland food. Me I will be waiting for awhile before getting again as is far to expensive to not have a great experience while eating. It took forever to get my order. Reason given was they were eating lunch. I kid you not that was what I was told. Well have to lower rating as well since my order interrupted their lunch. Did not matter about my lunch. Sadly they took my money and were not busy then!!!! I gave them several chances sadly had to write bad follow up review.

I love the food here. Always have and have continued to get my takeout from double Dragon even after the pandemic shut down the dining room. However my biggest complaint is the hours. I work out of town and am not home until 7pm....the same time they close. When you consider the average work day for at least half the working population of the valley, that means most of us who work and can afford to buy take out are unable to get anything from this restaurant. Staying open for take out just one hour longer would greatly increase the profits and customer satisfaction. It's hard to go back to my favorite Chinese restaurant when they're never open after I get off work. I have worked in the restaurant industry myself and anyone else who has, knows a restaurants peak money making hours are between 5 and 8. So while the food gets 5 stars from me, it's the fact that they're not staying open long enough to accomodate those who work regular work hours that received 3 stars. If the hours improve I will gladly update my rating.

October 2018Staff is still very friendly but the furniture and decor could really use an upgrade.June 2018Good basic Chinese food restaurant. It has a buffet, at least on weekends, which is the faster way to get served. We were just passing through town so decided to take the buffet. It had a large variety of menu items and the staff worked really hard at keeping it regularly stocked. The food itself was the basic Canadian/Chinese fare but we had no real complaints. A good salad bar ad dessert bar. Lots of parking out front which makes for an easy visit.

Pretty impressive buffet. There was pizza, ice cream, chocolate fountain, fruit, Chinese food. The chow mein wasn't so great, but the rest was good.

Had the sweet and sour chicken (chicken balls) and the honey garlic ribs. The balls were all dough with TINY pieces of chicken.The ribs came with a thick layer of liquid fat on the top and the ribs were very cheap quality. For most in our group it was inedible. Will never order there again.

Food has no taste. I've never eaten Chinese food like this before. I usually buy from the other Chinese restaurant but they open to late, so I was forced to buy at this establishment. Honestly, tasteless. I had to add salt & pepper to their food in order to eat it, plus it's lacking the Chinese taste of Chinese food. Rating :- Zero star.

Went to all you can eat, Friendly service. Amazing food, Greatly what I would expect from a Chinese restaurant. Pleasing inside scenery. Huge selection for choice to eat, A few Canadian things. And best of all a lovely chocolate fountain. Considering the prices for all you can eat, I'd personally go once in a while. It's pretty pricey. But it was so good It got me dreaming of that chocolate fountain.

Double Dragon Restaurant
A total of 1 star, the take out orders have been horrible quality, I'm sure the chicken lo mein was Mr Noodles with a little chicken, lots of onions and a few vegetables, really gone down hill in the past few months. The egg rolls are child sized now and everything is way overpriced for the quality and quantity, will never return here again.
