The Alteration Shop, Ali, I endorse without hesitation. I have requested a variety of repairs and alterations from Ali (for a few years now) and every visit has been a great experience. He has provided a repair solution for everything and anything I drop off, every repair, (and / or adjustment) is beyond my expectation and always at a very reasonable price. I came to Ali with a $700 dress that was much too small on the top and asked him if he could fix it within 5 days. He went above and beyond to make sure the dress was ready on time, even coming into the shop early. I am overjoyed with the results he gave me. He added a gorgeous corset to the back of the strapless gown and made she it fit impeccably. 5 stars is not enough!

Phenomenal service from a true professional who takes pride in their work. Every dress I've ever brought here has been altered and I've never not been happy with the final result. The timelines are also reasonable as are the prices.

A hidden gem in Stoney Creek! My very delicate beach wedding dress needed to be shortened and it was done with such care and precision! The fabric can pull easily, but it was expertly cut and hemmed as if it was purchased that way. I will definitely return with any future alterations. You can have confidence your garments are in great hands!

The Alteration Shop is the only place I trust to adjust my dresses! I've been a bridesmaid quite a few times within the last few years, and brought my dresses here to be altered - every time. Of course, when it was my turn to get married, I had to come see Ali again! He did an amazing job with my wedding dress. I felt so comfortable in it; he really helped my feel my best and I can't thank him enough.
