My parents spend three hours on the phone with Hertz. The final emailed reservation did not include the car (or class of car) they requested and booked them for the wrong dates also (4 days away instead of a month and 4 days) Had to cancel immediately or they would have been charged. Horridly and embarrassing bad on so many levels.

I was certainly weary of scheduling a rental with Hertz Kelowna because of the past reviews, but they are the only rental company that allowed me to speak directly to a human and have my questions regarding M+S tires and AWD answered easily and courteously. From pick up to return, every person I interacted with was pleasant and helpful. The vehicle itself was exactly as promised with not a single issue to report. Oh and their prices were also the most competitive. I would recommend to others and will personally continue to use in the future :)

The customer service experience was disgraceful! I had booked to hire a vehicle for 1 week while my mother in law visit because my car was in the garage. I arranged to pick this up at 3 but arrived slightly early so my car wasn’t ready which is fair enough. Straight away the guy that served us seemed to have an attitude which didn’t bother me to start with. We arranged which car i was going to take and then he told me that he could only accept a credit card which unfortunately I didn’t have because I’m new to the country. While I was trying to find what options we had this is when he started to become very rude. I explained my situation in the hopes he would be able to make suggestions but instead cut me off and said “not my problem” while I was speaking. Which is fair enough it isn’t his problem however I was expecting some alternative options or even a nicer way of telling me there isn’t anything else. I decided it was best for my mother in law to take the rental out herself and she would have to do the driving. She paid 50 bucks to taxi to the airport to hire the car. He treated her like the biggest inconvenience ever and really upset her. He then told us that her card declined which made no sense so we said we would call the bank, which we did and got it sorted and he refused to serve us. We explained that there shouldn’t be an issue anymore and he said he will not deal with us. I asked for his name as I’d like to make a complaint and he refused. It was the strangest interaction ever and for no reason at all this guy had something against us. We ended up renting with enterprise and it was a great experience and took no time at all.

Sohi is amazing ! The service was incredible. Car was amazing. The support was amazing. Pick up and drop off is super smooth. Great people working there. Good car selection. Very content with the overall experience

The first picture was taken when I arrived and the second picture was taken when I departed. I found a rock chip on the road and tried to call there but they didn't answer dozens of calls Eventually, I got in touch with them and after arriving, I was about to leave after filling out the documents on Windshield damage, but I felt something strange from the conversation between the two employees, and I checked the pictures I took before I left, and I found out it was old damage.. They'd know this was the damage that was there. I got the document back and they said they wouldn't charge it, but I hope this doesn't happen to the customer again.

Giving this business 1 star is far more than they deserve. Worst customer experience I have ever had, stay away. Had a rental scheduled and when I arrived, they had no vehicles available, for a rental I already prepaid?! Then tried to blame me with non existing terms and conditions and when asking for those T&Cs, they said they couldn’t produce them. Also tried to straight up lie multiple times that I was somehow my fault.Budget right next to them took care of me and it was a pleasant experience. Sorry, never again Hertz

Always have a great experience with Hertz. They have the best vehicles and their pickup and drop off is easy. Clean, safe, vehicle got me to Penticton. Would highly recommend. When I picked it up, was fully tanked with gas too. Friendly and competent staff.

Worst rental experience of my life. Pressured to purchase additional insurance, beyond the extended insurance I already bought through them, to drop my deductible to $0. I did not. On return, I was charged over $200 for damage" that is literally imperceptible in any photo I took and even their own photos (the agent at the counter couldn't identify it or find it). I was threatened multiple times that if I took a video that they would call the police and have me arrested. I still took photos and was asked to delete them (I did not). The "test" for "damage" on the vehicle was whether the drop off attendant could smudge something out with his pinky finger and saliva. I'm not joking. I was never show any pre-existing damage prior to rental and they refused to look at the photos I personally took before I ever got in the vehicle."

I rented a vehicle from Hertz Kelowna airport. It broke down in Revelstoke. Flashing check engine light, misfire, totally un-driveable. They didn’t answer their phone for over 24 hours! They finally called me back 2 days later and they refunded my money, but refused to deliver a working vehicle to my location. They wanted me to travel 2:30 hours back to Kelowna by taxi to get a replacement vehicle. Fortunately there was a local repair shop with a rental in Revelstoke we used instead, otherwise our trip would have been ruined.
