MEDCENTRE HEALTH - Markham McNicoll Family Care Clinic (MMFCC)

It's a mixed experiences for me. There are no hours of operation signs on their physical door. The phone number does not have an active automated information system set up, (in my opinion, this is paramount for patients) the staff isn't always the friendliest but my family doctor Dr. Suganthi Ravindran is the coolest person ever. Very kind, never rushed, makes you feel important for your visit. Such a great doctor!!! I just wish everything was up to par as well.

Dr.Wijeya is the best! I used to go to a doctor who did not care at all. I thought this was normal. Switching over to her was the best decision I have ever made. She makes sure to listen to your concerns and tries to find a solution! She is not the type to just prescribe pills for temporary fixes. She will refer you to appropriate people and even asks you how your experience was with them. Her nurses/admin are all as equally lovely. Every time I go in, I always have a pleasant experience. I switched my mom and husband to her too because she shows such great quality of care which not many doctors do anymore. Any one to have her as a physician is super lucky !

I am relieved that me and my family are in safe hands. Not only the doctor here in this clinic is understanding, but so are the RN. I have to specially say Ms. Kawal is very kind and helpful. She takes the initiative to follow up on our referrals and recognizes our medical needs. A noble soul in a noble profession.

Dr. Hunaina Mirza: horrible doctor & person. Does absolutely nothing to assist patients including those that are children. Brushes off patient concerns and issues without providing some type of examination. Very sarcastic and cocky attitude when asking questions for clarification. A huge waste of time seeing this doctor who just refers you back to your family doctor or tells you to come back.

my wife just went to this clinic today jan 11th wed at 11:45amto see Dr.Hunaina Mirza.the Doctor Did not even examined her , she didnt take the temperature, or check for any symptoms . My wife had a fever also and she is coughing badlyBut the doctor simply told her without ANY examinationthat you are fine, go home you will be O.Kwhat kind Doctor is this ?? Are they just simply making moneytaking money from OHIP... and thats it go home

Don’t waste your time here, the Doctors are not available and incompetent! They just want to have chilled out life getting paid by government and doing nothing in return!! Whenever you call for appointment, either the clinic is closed or doctors are not available!! And plus they pressurize you to come on time or they will not see you even if you are 5 minutes late but it’s ok if you come on time and waiting there for an hour for your appointment! So please look for another experienced doctor! It’s been more than a month doctor is not available so finally I decided to register with another doctor !

Dr. Shintula is very dismissive, incompetent, and indolent. She did not give me a thorough check regarding my health. Moreover, she defends her secretaries even when they’re in the wrong. I’m not returning.

Difficult to get service, non-caring doc. I have had better luck going to the walk in next door vs the actual doctor that we is supposed to be our family doctor" from this clinic."

I wouldn't recommend this health centre if you are looking for a good family doctor, Speaking from personal experiences over the past several months I have exhibited such poor appropriate service especially from one of the receptionists with maintaining such low integrity in doing her job and respectable behavior in booking in person apt via phone call. It took a lot of me to hold my impatience she repetively making me repeat my sentences as tho she is very deaf which is ridiculously irritating whereas I can hear from her just fine and also unnecessarily putting me on hold often. Who is she?The other day when I went for an apt to get a disability referral and needed to reach out for mental health resources. Well, That inconsiderate Doc Surely failed acknowledge my specific concerns about myself to have easy access to mental health professionals who I can contact with. Instead they recommended me only one useless phone service centre with difficulties reserving a slot.

Very unprofessional system. Also very unwelcoming. Less time to explain and they do not put effort at all.Choose some other place if you got options.
