Make Me Over Salon & Spa

As someone with Curly hair I find that it can be very hard to find a good hairstylist that understands how to work with my type of hair. Ashley is so professional and easy to talk to. Not only does she understands how to work and style curly hair but she makes you feel very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Ashley!!

This place is lovely! I went in on short notice, and the owner worked late just to accommodate me. Beautiful facility, exceptionally clean, and the staff was wonderful!I got basically my entire body waxed, and she did a great job. 10/10 recommend! Best service I have had since being in the city. Lisa did my Swedish massage and she’s awesome. She was very professional and accommodating to my needs! I fell asleep nearly 5 times on and off. My only feedback for this place would be that when a massage session is in place that the staff should LOWER their voices. It was VERY loud during the massage. I could hear the staff talking and laughing loudly with clients throughout the entire 1.5 hour massage. That was the only turn off for me. I would definitely go back to try again because of Lisa. I also love that they do not try to promote or sell their products after your appt. I’ve been to spas where they really try to sell their products even when you show no interest, they keep on going and going which made me not want to go back. If it does continue to stay loud every time I go, I will consider another Spa as I’m paying to be relaxed and have an enjoyable experience from beginning to end.

My husband had never before gotten a pedicure and suggested we go together as a treat. I told him I was in (of course!) but made him find and book a place because that's normally my job. I didn't know what to expect but he did a little research and picked Make Me Over Salon because it was close to us and had very good reviews. We booked for a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to find that the pedicures are done in a smaller room off the main salon. It has 2 chairs so it felt like a very private session for us. The women were very kind and took their time to give us an excellent pedicure. I found out one of them, Lisa, is the owner of the salon, and had a nice conversation with her. Very enjoyable experience and reasonably priced for a great service. Thank you!

Had a pedicure from Lisa and went to Hawaii for 4 weeks.... in the water, on the beach and sand and hiking for 4 weeks....no chips or peeling, polish lasted all four weeks...absolutely amazing..... have had hair care from 3 of the hair team with great results each time.. thank you

I discovered this place through groupon and extremely satisfied with the service. I had my hair dyed, cut, and styled. The best I haven't ever seen. Super helpful advices, friendly staff, clean environment.And the best of all, I got my first compliment on my thick hair in my whole life from Irena.:) ( all other hair dressers I had gone through hated my thick hair).It only takes one try to sense a great place with great people.I will definitely come back again.

Drove 30 minutes to get there and I was informed that they will not do the facial because the Group on had an additional discount!! Very unprofessional! If the Group on offers an additional discount it is not the client’s problem! The issue need to be resolved with Group on!Anyway not a pleasant experience!

The staff was very polite however the pedicure chair “massage” function wasn’t more than a weak vibrating pad. They put my feet in the stub and just stared at me while they soaked. I had a 4pm appointment for a pedicure and by 5:15 they were just getting ready to apply the polish. By that time I had to leave as I was already 15 min late for my next commitment. They removed my shellac with a file and acetone which took so long and injured my big toe. They charged me full price. I would not recommend this salon for pedicures

Have been coming here for years. Lisa is the best. I like supporting a local business. I would highly recommend giving them a try.Here is my new favourite fall colour.

Had an amazing experience here by doing 2 of the body treatments they offer (body wrap and body scrub) which left me feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. The moisturizing lotion they used smelled amazing too. The spa was clean and Lisa made me feel very comfortable and so it was a very relaxing experience. Their website explains the treatments in detail and the prices seemed fair and reasonable. I'll definitely be back!
