Price good, course maintenance excellent, not a decent club house but, nicest one out of any of public in GTAs, various type of 18 holes with some of challenging spots to make hard Par.I have signed membership 2023 for unlimited twilight

We hosted my daughter’s wedding shower at the gold course event room. Lara , the event planner, was absolutely fabulous. She accommodated for all of our needs. We had a “High Tea “ service. The food was delicious, the mimosas fabulous, the sweets ( especially the PB cookies) amazing. She decorated the tables beautifully with vintage tea cups and tea pots. We enjoyed it so much and would highly recommend this venue for this type of event. Clean and ample parking as well.

The 9-hole course is great for beginners. Beautifully maintained, this small course has holes ranging from 50-250 yards. It has just enough trees to provide shades while not being obstacles, and few bodies of water to make things interesting. I didn't rent a pullcart and didn't feel like I needed one. We finished the 9 hole course just under 2 hours.

Update 2023 - pace of play is getting better but do expect to wait 2-5 minutes on tee box on weekends. Fairways are hard and patchy. Tee boxes are not maintained well and there is uneven lie. Bunks are soft but large pebbles and small rocks exist. Priced fairly.2022 - A bit dry in some areas, tee boxes not maintained and greens don't roll consistently. Very slow, expect 4.5-5 hours on weekend. Overall good layout and value for money.

At the one of hottest day, July 5, 2023, we started to play at 12:21, and finished 18th hole at 4:25. Had we kept a good pace even by walking?We just waited less than one minute util the fairway was cleared in a few holes. The following players were riding and sometimes they waited but for tens of seconds and it might be natural for the riders.The terrible customer management was shown by the marshal and the staff. The marshal kept chasing us, staring at our plays, talking on the phone, even waiting in the middle of fairway where our ball could reach out to. At the 8th hole my ball was a little off the fairway, but he staring at my recovery shot that I mis-hit again eventually. He immediately gave an order" to take the ball out to the fairway not to make the team behind to wait too long. If he gently asked to do that even though I did not expected his concern and compassion

Nice course, greens were consistent and fairways were in good shape...except where they were doing some work.

Terrible customer service. Booked a tee time and tried 4 or 5 times to cancel it. Pro shop does not answer and it goes to reservation system that after putting you on hold say that they cannot get through and that I should keep trying. Even left a phone message with the Director of Golf but got no reply. Will not bother trying to golf here again.

Played on executive course first time. Greens were good but very short courses verrrrrrrrrry short.

First time playing there bought through underpar, great deal.Royal is a fun place to play has it challenges I had advantage of playing with regulars which helped or I could have lost a lot of balls to ponds you can't see from tee blocks.
