Nile Liquor

I have been going to this shop for about a year. Always enjoyed it. Staff and owner have always been super friendly. Unfortunately, last night the owner showed his true colours. I placed an order via skip the dishes. Nile sent me the wrong order. I contacted them and the owner said he’d send a driver with the correct order. The driver showed up but wouldn’t take the the wrong item that was sent. I insisted on him taking it but he woulndt. Soon after the owner called me screaming and threatening me and calling me names. Telling me I better pay for the other bottle or he was calling police. Said he’d come to my house and beat me up. I tried explaining that the driver refused to take the other item. He wouldn’t hear it. Just kept having a tantrum. I will not be dealing with them again. They just lost a loyal customer and a ton of my money. My advice to the owner would be, do better.

I called at 1:45am and they still delivered. Delivery was really fast and that delivery chick was really awesome and super friendly.

I ordered through Skip the Dishes. Nancy called me and I explained EXACTLY what I was looking for. The driver delivered it and it was the wrong item. I contacted Skip and they told me to contact the store. So I did. She said she was going to send someone to replace the items. 30 minutes later I get a call from another lady who got mad at me saying I cancelled the order. I told her I had spoken with Skip and was told to contact them so I did. She was angry and was getting mad at me. How could I cancel an order that I had already received? It was their fault and she admitted that on the phone to me. She then proceeded to tell Skip that they sent me the right items in the first place so they won’t process a refund

Horrible staff. Was hung up on after they canceled a skip order after it said arrived at my house. Guy was vile and refused to answer the business phone without giving a reason for the cancellation (skip does not refund alcohol btw) so I was just supposed to eat that loss.

Wow just got a skip order from them. Thay gave me a beer flag wich isn't much but they love a note on it saying thank you so much for being an amazing custumer" they dont know me and it really made my day!"

I was so amazed by the Nile Liquor Store customer service. The owner is always welcoming with great customer experience.I am also very happy with their lower prices. I asked for a product and the ordered right away.With all honesty, I am proud to also see a first Black family own Liquor store in Alberta.

Best liquor store, they didn’t have the alcohol I wanted so he wrote it down and the owner said come back soon and when I came back they had it.And customer service is great also.

After an hour and a half waiting for delivery and two phone calls to the store, driver shows up with a single shot of Bacardi spice rum and no discount on my purchase. Just under $40 said and done.I paid the bill but will never order liquor from here again!
