I saw Dr. Vanessa for all my post-op surgery appointments after having LASIK back in 2019. I also recently saw her again as they may need to do enhancement surgery free of charge. She is very sweet & takes her time to listen.

All staff were super kind. Dr. Jason Kwok was super nice. He listen, takes his time to explain everything to you.The waiting time was about 40min which is understandable due to the high number of patients. Also I spent an other 40min to do all the eye tests needed.

I am being refused for a follow up appointment and no one is helping me there. I at least was waiting for a callback from the ophthalmologist I was referred to, and no callback was given. It’s been weeks and when you were dealing with an eye issue, this is unacceptable.

Literally the worst eye doctor in town. You'll be booked for an appointment but not be seen for 90 minutes after the appointment time, wasting everyone's time. You will lose your eyesight waiting to be seen. No one has a sense of urgency. The front desk staff are useless. Just a terrible experience.

I seen Dr. Assad was referred there by my eye doctor. I thought he was very great did a complete check of my eye health. As for the wait it was great for me I traveled there by Wheel Trans told them my return pick up time and they processed me quick. I would have gave a five star rating, however, ended up by the next day eye lid swollen eye sore and then infection. I would not think of getting an eye infection at that place. I am now using eye drops and if no improvement need to go to my doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Cheskes by my family doctor because I felt a discomfort in my right eye; experiencing blurry vision and dull pain. After waiting for three months, I finally visited Dr. Cheskes on November 14th.

After the technician ran a few tests, and after waiting for over an hour, I finally had a chance to speak with him. Our conversation lasted about 5 minutes, just to hear him say that there is nothing wrong with my eye. I asked him why it has such poor vision and sensitivity, his answer was “I don’t know, maybe you need better glasses.” He then left the room as I sat there bewildered. I did not have a moment to ask more questions or get further clarification, he was out the door and did not look back. I left the office crying.I immediately booked an appointment to see my optometrist , who prescribed my glasses about a year ago, hoping that stronger glasses would help. She said my vision was still the same and that new glasses would not fix the problem. She said that I have damage on the back of my eye and a minor cataract, and if don't address this problem soon my right eye could go blind. She immediately referred me to retina specialist.Evidently, this was a horrible experience and made me feel that Dr. Cheskes does not care about his patients. On a side note, I also showed him a cyst that I have in the corner of my damaged eye. He promised to get me a referral to a specialist. It has been a month and I am still waiting.

AVOID DR. JORDAN CHESKES, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR EYES.Review below written over a year ago. Please read and consider going to another doctor for your eye needs. I wish my mom could have seen someone else before it was too late. She is now registered with CNIB because of this doctor. After seeing the all the issues and lack of care my mom has been receiving from Dr. Jordan Cheskes, I would not recommend him to anyone. After 2 unsuccessful retina surgeries, she's left with barely any vision. One of her eyes already had macular degeneration with very low vision so this was her good eye that she was able to depend on for everything. First surgery, retina failed to attach and she called after some issues started happening within a week or two after the initial surgery and next day appointment. Her concerns were basically ignored and was left with the original appointment that was already made, even though parts of her sight were dark/black unable to see. Next appointment comes and she's told she needs another emergency surgery (failed to get her in sooner after she mentioned the issues that were happening weeks prior.) Now more of her retina was cut again and oil was put in her eye instead of the gas. The oil was also left in much longer than it should have been and in between having oil and needles in the eye, my mom is still left unable to see, drive or do any daily activities like she could 10/11 months ago. She was supposed to have all the oil removed in the third procedure but oil was still left in her eye, ridiculous. She mentioned that in her last appointment and all she was told was if it bothers you we can go back inside (a fourth surgery, ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) Why wasn't it done right the first time? All of the oil was supposed to be removed and why would someone mention an issue if it didn't bother them? Makes no sense. I don't know what is going on with this place but is anyone qualified? Is Dr. Jordan Cheskes even qualified to perform these surgeries and procedures? My mom is left with large oil bubbles floating in her eye with already blurred vision plus her other eye that has macular degeneration. She's depressed and unable to get basic tasks done. Can't drive, can't email, can't read, can't watch tv, can't do grocery shopping alone. Something really needs to be done. This is unacceptable on so many levels.

Been coming here since 2020. Always a great experience with Dr. Jessica Kwok. She makes the experience comfortable and quick with her professionalism and efficacy. The wait wasn't long this time, waited not even 15 minutes. Highly recommend!
