Jim and Nikki were the sweetest and most helpful people ever.We are from Dallas and had never been to Alberta before, but we knew Banff was where we wanted to get married. Looking for all of our wedding vendors online was a little nerve wrecking, but choosing Jim and Nikki as our photographers was by far the easiest choice for us. They took the most amazing engagement session and wedding day photos. We will cherish these photos forever! We highly recommend them to any couple looking to get married in Alberta!

My partner and I picked Jim and Nikki as our photographers originally because we loved how they incorporated the landscapes into their shots, and made their subjects look comfortable and effortlessly like themselves. Not only did Jim and Nikki surpass and exceed those expectations, but they went over and above in more ways than I could count. It started with our engagement photos, where ahead of time they scouted out the location and knew just what pictures would capture us best where, their timeline was on point, and they even suggested an additional site to get those expansive views in that we loved. Then in picking our wedding location, they wandered around multiple areas in the Banff region, and when we politely turned down a suggestion of the Banff Falls for more of a mountainscape, they were wonderfully receptive and DELIVERED. Their final suggestion of Johnson Lake had both the mountains, a lake, and because it was the less populated location near Lake Minnewanka, ensured we got that beautiful, isolated, and magical scenery we were looking for in our winter wedding. They also have a knack for setting you at ease. Neither I nor my partner are practiced at being photogenic as we don’t really do social media, so the laidback, humourous, and genuine nature they both had allowed us to be ourselves and it shows. I can’t emphasize enough how much Jim and Nikki’s skills are of the highest value in quality and worth their weight in gold. Jim and Nikki, if you’re reading this, thank you. Simply AMAZING! We could not have asked for any better photographers to work with. Jim and Nikki were incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and detail oriented. We planned our destination wedding in Banff, where we had never been and could not visit prior to the wedding. Jim and Nikki took every thought I had about out of the box portrait venues and fully explored the options by physically going to Banff and taking test photos. I mean, how awesome is that?! I never in a million years thought it was possible to have photographers who cared so much for their clients. This 110% effort as well as attention to detail only amplified the day of the wedding. They truly captured every single part of our wedding, and gave us more photos then we could ever wish for. We're so proud to display and will cherish these photos forever. Jim and Nikki did a fantasic job at our wedding in Mexico! Prompt, personal and professional, I was amazed at the quality and volume of photo's. Really impressed with the photoshopping done to get rid of the background people that were on the beach during our wedding, making it look like we had the beach to ourselves! They also provided us with a beautiful photo album of our wedding! Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic experience working with Jim & Nikki. Prior to our photoshoots, they had scouted out picturesque locations and also planned contingencies in the case of unexpected weather changes. Jim & Nikki made us feel super comfortable and the whole experience felt natural (not forced at all).
