I approached Elby a couple of months ago after quitting my job of the last three years. As part of my job search I contacted 5 or 6 different recruiters to keep my options open. A few agencies responded to me and requested a copy of my resume. Others I didn’t even hear back from, and one asked for my resume and then requested that I check in with them once a month.I was looking for a more consultative approach, and that is exactly what I got from Elby. I was contacted by Karen Hannam, and invited to come in and discuss my past work experience, interests, and career expectations. From the very first point of contact via email my experience with Karen and Elby was nothing short of outstanding and professional. Karen was incredibly helpful, and personable. I don’t typically leave reviews as much as I should, but I had such a great experience here I felt I should share.I was contacted by a member of the Elby team named Karen, who saw my resume online and thought I might be a potential fit for their client. After just a few emails, and a phone conversation to assess the fit and expectations, Karen had me in touch with the client.The process was super easy, as Karen worked with both parties to find flexible days and times for us to first talk over the phone, and then meet in person. I received timely emails both in regards to sharing new information with me, and following back up with me. I never once felt out of the loop, or in flux because someone else was handling the back and forth between myself and the prospective employer - I was always informed and in the know as to what was going on.I could keep going, but ultimately I would have zero hesitation recommending this company, especially Karen. Both Antonia and Sheila were great to work with. My needs changed over a relatively short period of time. They took the changes in stride and actually listened to me, which is not something I can say about the vast majority of the others I have been contacted by.
