Kids can hop up for a picture, super easy to find and within walking distance of the elevated park if you want to visit both.At the same location there is a train car with a pottery shop inside. Limited hours, would be worth a look!

I remember stopping at Jumbo the Elephant Statue. My family had a great time there when we took pictures.

Well, that’s a big statue! A wonderful monument to a truly legendary pachyderm that met his untimely demise in of all places, St Thomas, Ontario. Take the detour and see Jumbo!

Great place to park, explore attractions and be amazed by the Jumbo Memorial which sadly commemorates his tragic passing on the day of arrival to celebrate 100th circus event. Easy access & short walk to St Thomas Elevated Railway Park trail.

Jumbo, a victim of PT Barnum's circus trade, died âge 24. Killed by an express train in Sept 1885. You can see what's left of the rail yard where he died as well as a sometimes open rail museum à short distance from his statue. RIP Jumbo.
