I visited the Taproom the first weekend it opened as I live in the area. Ordered a maple bacon poutine from Salted Pig and it was PACKED. It was delicious. Good stuff. I got my money's worth.Visited again a few weeks later, ordered the same thing for take-out. It was legit half the amount I had the first time. I asked the employee if this was correct. She asked the cook and confirmed it.I left extremely disappointed.

Went to the Taproom on Sunday evening and I was very disappointed with the meal.I had previously eaten at Salted Pig and Tuesdays and really enjoyed the food at both places. But, on this occasion, the kitchen forgot my friends food order and delivered us overcooked fish and chips after a 40 min wait. The fries very completely dried out and the fish had seen a few too many mins in the fryer (crumbled and fell apart).I’m completely understanding that the place is new, and could see some bumps in the road, but I thought that the quality could’ve been improved considering there weren’t many people in the restaurant that evening.Staff was friendly and attentive.

I stopped by Townhall today to order from Incline Coffee Co. The food was wonderful (I got the Whipped Feta Toast & a dirty chai latte).Their POS system wasn’t working at first, and the staff worked together patiently to get it resolved. The manager (Cara or some “C” name) guided the younger staff members with humour & kind words. As a customer, it was really great to see — I always appreciate when younger people (often in their first job or new to a job) are treated with kindness. Keep up the great work!

The concept is great. Different options for different tastes. Place also has a guest spot for new flavours. Wednesday nights, I just learned is trivia night starting at 730 which was fun. We tried the restaurant Tuesdays which was ok. I ordered the elite with cheese dip amd chips. And my sister ordered the taco deal. The avocado n chips are nothing special and definitely not authentic but was good to munch on. Prices were comparative.Whole place itself was cute and comfortable and clean.It's got much potential. We sat inside but I beleive it's got a patio as well.Overall I would recommend and try again.

Excited for this restaurant on the street with lots of seating inside and a bit out. However, staff need more/better training and/or time to figure things out as we were waiting over an hour for our tacos the one time. (This place is still relatively new when I'm writing) We will be back as it's a good option and hoping it gets even better.Food:Fried foods seem to be the best - the chicken fingers and fish sandwich from the bar were really good. The tacos from Tuesdays were okay - would be nice to see a bit more interesting toppings. The poke bowl was a bit lack luster and would like to see a bit more for the price. Chips and guac were good. Interested to see what the wine and bread place will offer. Caesar salad has a bit too much dressing but that's just my preference, may ask for the dressing on the side next time.Family friendly and big single use washrooms and end one with change table.

I recently this visited new cafeteria-style restaurant in town. While the food was ok, the overall experience felt too much like a big chain restaurant. The atmosphere lacked character and the menu options were predictable. It wasn’t a bad experience, but it wasn’t particularly memorable either. If you’re looking for a quick and convenient meal with people over varying tastes, this place could do the job. But if you’re looking for something unique or special, you might want to look elsewhere. The bar definitely needs to focus more on local - most disappointing was no local taps and no knowledge of the local beers by the staff.I’ll give it a second chance in a few months as the concept is fantastic and they might just need a bit more time to work on their menus.

Went to the tap room to grab and a bite and a drink on Friday night. Place wasn’t busy but we waited 20 minutes for someone to even drop off a menu. Another 15 minutes for someone to take our order.The food was a mixed bag. Tortilla chips for the dip were very stale. Dip itself was good.We asked for our bill and waited again for an excessively long time. Again the place was empty just total lack of urgency from the staff.I’ll give it another shot but overall disappointing.

Cool place, just on the cusp of being greater. Food was good and the concept was cool. But I can see why it's sitting at 4.0 on Google. Seems that staff are a little bit disorganized and not super experienced. The vibe and decor is pretty cool but it's missing that certain, overall vibe. it's hard to put a finger on it. Maybe if it was busier filled with more people on a Friday.I renovate restaurants for a living, the decor, design and millwork is cool. But it has a slightly cheap feel. Little things like the washroom door being a struggle to close. Needs just a slight refinement. Maybe it needs a little more decor inside to feel full when it's 70% empty.Overall a good experience though, lots of beer selection. Local craft and generic domestic. The food was good, lots of options. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will try again. Cool place.

Decided to give this place a shot earlier this week for a girls night out. A few of the stalls were closed sadly. But we liked the concept. We opted to eat in the tap room and tried a few drinks and appetizers. The food was great as we're the drinks!
