Sport Chek

Stood in line today to purchase a men vans tank top, the group of ladies finished and left but these two guys just approach the till from the exit side and the cashier girl just let them. They totally butted in front of me and they weren't even purchasing. I thought they were just asking a quick question so I waited but then they ended up with him trying to sign up for the triangle or something cuz he was putting in his email and address information etc. The girl cashier totally realized that I was missed and been waiting for awhile and she didn't even try to apologize or acknowledge me or tell those guys to wait for a minute cuz she have to serve me who is next in line to buy something. I got so frustrated I just ditched the item I wanted and left the store. This stores customer service has really gone down in quality. No wonder people are doing more online shopping.

I went into this store last week, I bought 2 shoes and found out there were some damages on it. The next day I returned it refunded me on my credit card apparently it did not went through and the bank confirmed it to me as well. Such an inconvenience for me and the lady at the cashier seems doesn't want to help at all. I dont know what will happen to my money now. I need to went to the store multiple times which is waste of time. Could someone help me to fix this issues?

I came in looking for ski gear including boots and the skis without knowing anything about them because it is my first year going skiing. I was very nervous and anxious to get into the sport but the employees in the back were so helpful and told me all about the gear and how to find the perfect size for my self. Although I wasn't able to find exactly what I wanted the employees made my experience very comfortable and taught me how to find the perfect ski for my self. I can use this information at a later date when they have more selection but overall I had a phenomenal customer experience! Shoutout to Rupesh and Clive the employees that were able to help me and teach me about skiing and we're patient with me when I asked all my questions!

My husband was looking for a non slip shoes. We’re both thinking we could get one in sports chek, I thought they are selling all kinds of shoes, but they didn’t that’s why I give 4 star. The sales lady who help us was friendly and didn’t waste our time looking for what we need, she even suggest Mark’s and Shoe Company. Sports stuff go to sports chek, it is located in Guildford under ground.

HAD a Rough Day very frustrating at 2 stores of sports chek. VERY POOR BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, ALL THE STAFF WORKING IN SPORTS CHEK DOSENT HAVE PROPER INFORMATION ABOUT THE THINGS IN THE STORE AND GIVE WRONG INCOMPLETE ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ASKED . Such POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and GAVE US WRONG INFORMATION ABOUT THE SHOE , WHICH WAS NOT AVAILABLE IN 2 STORES WE WENT TO TODAY 3 HOURS OF FUSTRATION

Poorest customer service, it’s clear that they’re owned by Canadian Tire. My kid asked the associate if they sold Heely’s - only to get told that they have them in the back, made him waste his time looking for it at the rear of the store instead of offering him a size for them to bring to him. Usually, this place always has its staff gathering at the register gaggin’ lollies.

I came in on Tuesday and I had amazing customer service from Simrat. Not sure if she was cashier or manager. But she was very helpful. She helped me do a return and exchange so easily. After I was told by the store shoe department they didn’t have my size she double checked again, found them and went back and grabbed the shoes. She also helped me place a online order for a hoodie. Simrat also went over the return policy very well. She has very well product knowledge she helped me get a good coffee cup to keep my coffee extra hot, I originally picked up a hydro flask but she told me how the yeti was a better option and I love them cup! She was so polite, patient and kind too. She also ran through a purchase for me; nicely folded me all the clothes, packed the yeti with care and provided me all my gift receipt. It was a lot all at once but she provided me the best customer service ever!

Great products delivered with great service. I have great experience all the time. Jovan Tatla was great—he showed a lot of patience and professionalism. He was working alone. It was a busy time. He tried to his best to help me find the shoes I liked. Esha at the check-in was equally helpful. I have been in the hospitality industry for the last 11 years. My mission is to uplift service culture by empowering people (including my teams and anyone who is in the service industry) so I understand it is not easy to be motivated all the time. That's why I take time to appreciate those who are doing great to inspire them to continue the good work.

We recently organized a basketball tournament aimed at supporting at-risk youth. We were truly impressed with the General Manager’s hands-on approach and personal involvement in the process. This level of dedication and attention to detail went above and beyond our expectations. Staff from Guildford took the time to understand the unique needs of these young individuals and worked diligently to ensure they received the necessary equipment to keep engaged in positive recreation.The entire team at SportChek Guildford exhibited a remarkable level of professionalism and enthusiasm. They were not only knowledgeable about the products and equipment we needed but also provided invaluable guidance to ensure we made the most appropriate choices for our youth.By providing them with the necessary equipment, they were able to participate fully in the basketball tournament, boosting their confidence, fostering teamwork, and encouraging a sense of belonging. Only one person helping with grabbing shoe sizes , the guy was helpful but he had too many people to help at the same time . Had to wait 15 min to grab my size . Management should look into this . People are paying so much money they need more people working .
