Riley Park

Riley parks wading pool is amazing for all ages ! There is grass area to set up blankets and towels, lots of trees for shade.Small grass area/island in the middle of the pool.Washrooms available, a few picnic tables near the washrooms.The wading pool is fenced in, outside the fence there's lots of green space and a playground .Parking is very reasonable priced .

Nice place to get a good time with family or pet. But, parking is limited. :(

A nice and cozy park close to DT. It has lots of open space to spend some good family time. There is a splash pad as well during the summer. Children play ground area is also nice.

This is a beautiful park in the vicinity of downtown, Calgary. It has plenty of trees, grassy ground, benches to enjoy shade or sun, and a paved trail to enjoy walking, jogging, or cycling.The park has a children play ground with lots of equipment to amuse children of diverse interests, and It is always buzzling with children.The park has a city and district cricket league established in 1908, a well-built pitch, net practice area, and a lot of cricketers of different age groups and genders exercising, stretching, running, practicing, or playing tournament matches. The league has many teams, and anyone can join a team and practice or play there.The park is popular for its wadding pool for all ages of people. Currently it is closed to the public. I have never wadded in a pool, so I look forward to visit the park once the pool is made available to the public.Street parking is available on the streets for which you have to pay, but after 6:00 pm and on Sundays, you may park for free.I cannot agree more with one of the reviewers who said this park was an oasis.

Great Park near downtown. Has 2 cricket pitches, wading pool, kids play area and many picnic tables.

A smaller park not too far from downtown in the NW. It is perfect for families and anyone who wants to relax in the sun, but it's not big enough for biking or going for a walk. It's quite pretty. There are flowers, a wading pool, The Calgary & District Cricket League (founded 1908) and now the Riley Park Bandshell. I definitely recommend it (as long as you're okay with lots of people).

Free access to a wading pool, a cricket pitch, a lovely flower garden, and a playground. It can get pretty busy, and you will need to be aware of the occasional bandaid in the water, but overall a fantastic inner Calgary spot to enjoy a summer day. Highly recommend.When you are done, check out Another Dimension Comics, just across the street. And if you are hungry, Sidewalk Citizen is a minute past AD, a great market/bakery.Aug 7 2022 update: Still awesome. Bring water guns, camping chairs, grub and good company. Now you've got a stew going.

Small but beautiful park to relax and sunbathe!

This is a beautiful park. It's located in the community of Hillhurst. The park plays host to Calgary's Cricket League and Calgary Concert Band holds free concerts in the park in the summer. There are lots of picnic tables, a nice sized playground for children and there is also a little splash pool for children with bathrooms. An ice cream truck is always nearby in the summer. The flower garden in the park is amazing.

Me and kids love this park! The pool is spacious, tons of space to sit in shades and nice huge playground is just over the fence!!
