Disorganized, disrespectful, overwhelmed staffWait times are ridiculous, and not just for the ER! Simple things like drawing blood takes hours. Ultrasound and medical imagery? Sit down it’s going to take a couple more hours…Procedures are not clear, the staff is not knowledgeable on the hospital’s own procedures.I’m really doubting our choice now since wife will be giving birth here.Parking is atrocious, facilities are not up to par, the ER is a joke where it seems that only two people are working at a time, while almost 100 patients wait, registration takes longer to pass through than seeing an actual triage nurse. Need to come back after an exam? Good luck! You’ll need to go through the whole process all over again: take a number, wait for hours to see a triage nurse, wait some more hours to go through registration again, wait some more hours to see a doctor and you better hope to find a place to sit down.Most of the reviews I write are tellings of my negative experiences, but I’ve never wanted to downvote a place this bad before.

If you only go there for quick appointments you might get the wrong idea, the parking is small and the hospital narrow and crowded. But if you actually have to be there for more than a few hours you will discover a really competent and devoted staff with up to date equipment and nice accommodations.I am now a young father and i made a donation even though my budget is tight because i truly believe that St-Marys is a hospital that truly embodies its mission of best care and service for all"."

Super sweet staff and very caring doctors. I went to the emergency and waited almost 11h but the staff were super sweet. Some were hella rude and sometimes came off racist but honestly the doctor was very caring and didnt make me feel like a hot potato. She was very understanding and was listening to my problem and trying to really help me get to the root cause of my issues.

I had knee surgery. The staff was just amazing considering the current situation of staff shortage. They inspire trust, they are friendly and go beyond what was asked of them to make patients comfortable. Dr Stevenson has a well deserved stellar reputation.

This is a review of the day surgery department at St Mary's Hospital: I was very satisfied with the treatment I received in this department four weeks ago. The hospital staff were uniformly courteous, helpful, and professional and I am exceedingly grateful for the care that they provided. One of the interesting elements of the experience for me, as a patient, was that I found myself in a small waiting room along with two or three other patients immediately prior to my procedure. This created an environment in which it would have been somewhat difficult simply to ignore the other patients.... so we ended up talking to one another. I have no idea whether this set-up is intentional or simply the result of space constraints, and possibly I was just fortunate to encounter nice people, but I was surprised to find that our conversation was unexpectedly calming and therapeutic. I am therefore doubly grateful - to the excellent medical staff and to my kindly fellow-patients - for the care that they provided.

My mom had a total knee replacement with Dr Dimentberg in June. Surgery and staff were great. She also mentioned that she really appreciated when Elena (from Calgary?) took her for a (walker) walk in corridor.

My baby born on 4 may 2023 in st mary hospital.and i must say that the staff is super nice and caring , as the shifts change the nurses and doctors got changed but all the staff who were on duty were so experienced and dedicated towards there job . How ever after my delivery when i was shifted to the ward , there i find some nurses were rude and they are partial towards the patients but when i complaint about that ..the management took care of everything. Overall my experience was very good in st mary and i recommend that this hospital is best for baby birth. The only thing is that if you find anything wrong like the behaviour of nurses or any thing else ,its better to talk to the senior rather then giving bad reviews... thankyou so much to all the staff of st Mary's.

I have suffered from allergy for 6 months. I got a referral to see a specialist but no where I can obtain an appointment in the next three months. My situation is getting worse. Therefore yesterday I went to the emergency at this hospital. The triage person just considered my condition at the moment I saw him so he put it down as stable instead of worse. It seemed I should be punished because my going to the ER was subsequent to my operation in the day surgery centre. I ended up leaving without seeing any ER doctor after 10 hours in that hospital on an empty stomach for 24 hours. Disgusted!

The hospital staff in the Orthopaedic surgery department were truly exceptional! Everyone that I had contact with were not only professional but they had so much compassion as they helped me through a difficult situation and as I watched them interact with others. From the nurses, the anesthesiologist, the person who brought me to surgery, and Dr.Adriana Martinez who is not only an excellent surgeon but also empathetic towards her patients. Truly grateful to all of you who supported me and helped me stay positive and left with a wonderful experience.

I have had to use the ER a few times for injuries. I am beyond blown away by the care and speed of service.When Laval tells me a day to two days, they see me inside 12 hours. As in triage, checked out, x-rays, ultrasound, and here is treatment. 6-7 hours last time.I am English, and never once given stink eye for speaking it.It might be small, but they punch above thier weight class.
