When we first moved in, I would tell everyone I knew who wanted to rent to come here. If you asked me now I would advise to stay away. I have never in my life been treated so unbelievably disrespected during a walk through in my life. The resident manager from the spot is by far the most condescending, rude and completely inept woman I have ever met. During our walk through, we sublet our unit and the couple who was taking over our lease was there for the walk through. She insisted that our apartment needed 12 hours of cleaning, even though we spent the whole night cleaning. She told us to use bleach and fantastic on the grout to make it white. I used grout cleaner and because the seal of the grout was gone, it did not get white. Bleach erodes grout over time, so if this is the standard of cleaning, be prepared to re grout all of your units. She also told us that when you live at Lux, you have to live up to the Lux standard- thank you for insulting us and making us feel unworthy to have lived in the building. Also, this is common for this over charging over cleaning as we called professional cleaning companies who would charge less and take less time to clean a suite that was abandoned. Multiple residents who have moved out have experienced the same problem with this manager. Good luck trying to get your damage deposit back, I told the manager we would pick up the cheque after the 12 hours of cleaning was deducted. The cheque was sent out to an address, not sure where as we did not leave a forwarding address. I contacted the corporate office and was told they would contact me back. Still waiting and haven’t heard anything. I would love the opportunity to speak to someone about this experience because when we moved in I couldn’t say enough good things about Christie and Angel. It is a shame that it has gone down hill so quickly once they left.

they dont return deposit

This is a terrible apartment I have never seen. I pay almost 4000 a month, but they never offer the service I should deserve. I pay a professional cleaning company to do move-out cleaning, but they still charge me an additional cleaning fee, they said my apartment still needs 15 to 20 hours of cleaning which is ridiculous.

It’s a great place with beautiful views throughout the year and they have really nice and friendly people to help you out.Our family always got supports from Vherna and Jenny for the contract changes or other stuffs.Please don’t hesitate to use all the facilities from gym to bbq. And you can go for a walk just cross the street or take a ride if you like.Loved it so much!

Terrible

STAY AWAY. Most terrible management ever. We have no issue paying the cost of attached to most luxury apartments because we expect a certain level of service, certain group of tenants and certain conveniences that maybe other apartments do not offer. The money is not worth it here. Management is condescending and rude. They nickel-and-dime you for things that don’t even make sense. Service is not what you would expect at the price point it is at. Also the train being close by was said to not be a problem, but it is. You can literally hear and feel it. There are other places in Winnipeg where your money is better spent.

My Girlfriend and I have lived in LXTX since April 2019 and loved every minute of it. The Concierge Christie has bent over backwards to help us out personally, and for our apartment. The building management has put on great parties for events such as the Grey Cup and a few Jets games that have allowed us to get to know our neighbors better than we would have otherwise. If i had to make the same choice to move in again, i would do so in an instant!
