Phenomenal, just phenomenal. The folks there shared so much of their story and inspiration for the cafe, you could really tell how much care they put into it. (If the outstanding coffee, food, and atmosphere wasn't enough indication on it's own.)Lovely people and terrific food & coffeeThe only thing is it's expensive. Definitely worth trying, but it's not an everyday coffee shop

We are greeted with a smile every time we walk through the door. You are family when you come here. The owners and staff are so lovely and truly care about your experience. Take time to appreciate the art that is everywhere, even the bathroom! We go at least once a week for the delicious coffee and a sweet. Truly one of my favourite places to be.

Cute, 2D cafe in the heart of downtown Halifax. The bright interior with black and white 2D finish takes your brain on a ride and your eyes move about the rooms. Some displays are great for photo ops. The owners were very pleasant and eager to share information about their products. I had a steamed coconut bun with hot chocolate and it was very tasty. Definitely a family-friendly Cafe with lots of charm and worth dropping in if you're in the city.

It's an interesting cafe with unique mural style theme inside. Wonderful place to hang out with friends and pleasantly astonishing menu. Excellent staff who are always eager to help and describe any question that you may have regarding buns, cakes etc. Just the right amount or sugar in the desserts here which will call all customers back to the cafe time and again. This was the best part for us. Coconut bun was delicious!

The ladies working at this store were very lovely. I accidentally ordered a hot drink when I thought it was a cold one and they were able to give me a glass of ice to convert my drink to a cold one. The bbq pork steam bun was alright.

Love the place, vibrant and clean. Food is really good, delicious and affordable . That Ube Dalgona Coffee is must try. I had that delicious Pulled Pork Sandwich, Ham and Cheese bread and Ube Square .. Owner and staff very friendly and very accomodating.

Visited Xena’s Bread and Butter with my friends and we are not disappointed all. They have Filipino Canadian goodies they baked fresh daily. Also, the sandwiches are the best! Best Steamed Bun and Pulled Pork Sandwich we ever tasted! The staff are super friendly too. They take time to explain to you each of the pastries and will ask if you have any allergies to food products. The customer service was excellent! They deserve more than 5 stars.The place is wheelchair accessible, very spacious. Has a lot of plugs or sockets for the gadgets. Perfect place to study with your friends or even just for yourself. They even have a chessboard if you and your friends are into chess. During our visit, a group were playing chess as if they have competition and it was fun to watch them.Thank you Xena’s for a wonderful experience. To the owners Kris and Grace, their staff Adit. Great job! We’ll bring some more friends and family when we get back. Cheers guys!

We popped in for a drink while we were waiting for our airport taxi to pick us up. What a cool cafe. They call it 2D and it certainly was well thought out and designed. Service was friendly. Our drinks were awesome. Wish we had tried some food. Next time XENAs.

I’ve heard about this two dimentional cafe and paid a visit once but I keep on coming back. MUST TRY the following : UBE CHEESE PANDESAL, ALL UBE DRINKS, STEAMED BUNS AND THE SANDWICHES : Pulled Pork, Beef Bulgogi. They are the best and delicous! The staff are all so friendly and are all willing to explain their pastries that freshly baked that day. Great place to study, lgbt friendly, kids friendly and wheelchair accessible. The coffee was so good too!
