This guy is amazing.My experience with this business:・High quality work・Extremely fair price・Quick and efficient・Won’t upsell you on things you don’t need/want・Very friendly and professional, genuinely a great experience coming hereBroke the LCD screen on my Mac and several repair places gave me a $500+ quote. Luckily I had an older Mac of the same model with liquid damage and thought maybe I could have the screens swapped.Took both laptops in and he was able to salvage the screen from the old computer and replace the one on the newer Mac. It was finished about 6 hours after I took it in and picked it up the next day! Pricing was very reasonable, and also took a bit off the price in return for keeping the damaged computer (win-win, wanted it off my hands anyways).Will be going back if I ever need more work done on my Mac. If you have a damaged Mac that needs repair, I would highly recommend going to this business.

Owner / Operator works out of his home by appointment, not at published business address.I brought in my daughter’s 2012 MacBook because the keyboard was malfunctioning. I can’t speak to the owner’s technical expertise but he declared that the keyboard needed to be replaced at a cost of $300 without even trying to type something on it and observe the problem.I explained to him that my daughter needed the machine to study at home that evening and for the next few days for upcoming tests and that I could bring it in 3 days later to get the repair done. He proceeded to accuse me of playing games and telling me that I was lying about my daughter needing her computer ?!? He also tried to pressure me into leaving her mac right away and pick it up in the morning which also didn’t work for us and then continued to insult me because I refused.Clearly, his prediction of me not getting the repair done with him was self-fulfilling because I would never do business which such an obnoxious and unprofessional individual. I’m a Professional Electrical Engineer / Executive with over 25 years of experience dealing with hundreds of suppliers large and small, and I have never been treated this poorly by anyone in the technical service industry.Being in need of an alternative, I contacted Apple Expert Calgary who actually have a store, are very polite and courteous, and are able to replace the keyboard for $250 if needed because they actually troubleshoot the machine and confirm the problem before providing a free estimate. Well worth the extra 20 min. drive.

Georgio at MacMechanic is awesome! My 2008 iMac wouldn’t boot up. He was able to get it to boot up and recovered all my files, even the files from my Windows Boot Camp partition! The service was fast and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend MacMechanic!

Absolutely top notch customer service. My computer suffered a hard drive failure because I dropped it. Georgio sourced parts and had it fixed in one day. As an elderly person my computer is my window in the world and I depend on it for communication. Mac Book Air 10 years old now just like brand new.❤️

I am sorry to say about macmechanic that guy who has fixed my mac his name was Georgia he wasn't know how to deal with customer very rode and didn't tell me exact problem and even didn't explain me what part he replaced. Time frame wise also very late he took 4 days to fix simple problem . He more focused on his charges, so please if you are taking your apple computer talk to them and ask them price because he fixed my mac before letting me know .If you find other tech its better to go with them.

Hands down, the best service ever! I needed a battery replaced in my MacBook Air and I could not be without my computer. Done and done in 15 minutes while I waited. Cheerful, happy, professional service with lots of smiles! I made the error of first going to the official Mac Store by appointment yesterday. They didn't even have batteries in stock! Then, they said they would let me know when a battery arrived. I could come back and leave my laptop for 3 days for them install one. Are you kidding? I called MacMechanic from their service counter, arranged to go over today at 2, and I am so very glad I did. I'll be back anytime I need help! Thanks MacMechanic team!

I was very surprised to have a response to my request so quickly. I brought my computer and the staff was very nice and reassuring that I would hear from the owner soon. She was correct with in 48 hours I spoke to the gentleman. Then much to my surprise I received a text saying that my computer was ready to be picked up. When I did pick it up they turned it on to show me that the worked recommended was done and the computer was working . I left knowing that my computer was in great shape and I could phone any time if I had any questions. I would recommend MacMechanic to anyone who has an Apple problem.
