Customer service was quick! First mini van, the wipers didn’t work so had to turn around and go back for a different one. 2 nd vehicle the rotors were warped. Please maintain your vehicles better or don’t buy dodge’s! Also had extra charges that I don’t know what they’re for!

Upon arrival to Toronto and going through the retrieving of our luggage, the airport concourse signs pointed towards the car rental location. This was at night and in a place where I was not familiar with. However, upon arriving at the Budget Car Rental desk, the biggest warmest smile greeted me. If I could remember his name, he should be commended for his kindness and hospitality. We chatted for a moment, then he offered an upgrade that was difficult to refuse. Throughout our vacation, we enjoyed driving the BMW X2 as it safely got my family to our destinations. Even with the rain/snow we felt safe and secure. (I’m considering trading in my truck for this model.) I’m confident that when we return to visit Toronto, I will definitely contact Budget Car Rental. Cheers!

Picked up a car on the way from Alberta. I liked the service with the exception of an African Canadian Lady at counter who was very unprofessional. Also, the Car wasn’t as clean as it should have been but over all, a 4 star service. It’s a very busy place, can’t expect exceptional service to be honest

Worst customer service ever. My flight was delayed and beforehand, called and spoke to manager inquiring about being able to pick up a rental due to my delay. I was assured the front desk knows about my flight being delayed and will stick around even after officially closed to get the rental. But no, after landing they told me they are closing in a few min and that I could take a cab or wait till 6 am to get a rental. I did all I could to prevent this and possibly make other arrangements but no luck, totally misinformed and with no transportation. Shame on a budget.

DO NOT USE BUDGET. The agent appeared to get frustrated when he had to explain things that were not explained on the website. There were miscellaneous fees that should’ve been charged through the website, but weren’t, it’s deceptive, in a bait-and-switch type of business model, and I would’ve chosen a different service provider if I had know that the price wasn’t as advertised.The car received had numerous scratches and dents on it, and smelled lightly of cigarettes, despite being advertised as a non-smoking vehicle. The vehicle asked for maintenance about 20km after driving off of the lot. While driving in Buffalo NY, the vehicle randomly applied full brakes because of an “impending collision”, even though (thankfully) there were no other cars around.

Black VW Golf, rented July 2023, shook badly at highway speed. This was obviously a tire balance weight missing, probably from a back wheel (i.e. no steering wheel shake) and a cursory safety inspection would have caught that. Driving the car around the terminal road loop would make it obvious that there was a problem too- there is much less vibration at city speed but there is still noise. I also left a review using the company we want your feedback" email link. At the end of that review it said "would you like to leave a Google review?" Yes

Booked through Priceline and was a great price. Vehicle was clean and new. Though it was a base model it was perfect and served of its purpose. Easy pick up with less than 5 min at the counter to the car. Drop in was less than a minute. Staff was really helpful and didn’t face any issues while throughout. Fair and nice experience using their service. Will choose them if I have to as other factors or offers comes handy next time.

Horrible experience. Employees didn’t do what they were supposed to.I rented 2 vehicles 1 long term and 1 short term (for a few days). It wasn’t until the 2nd vehicle that I know about the paper where you circle if the vehicle is damaged. They were supposed to tell me the first time I rented. During check in, they were supposed to explain to me about everything… but they didn’t. Second time, the employee told me about it. I confronted them why the first person didn’t tell me. They just ignored and said every employee should have done it. Additionally, the employees had bad attitude. Didn’t want to work with you in nice manner.

When we arrived at the counter after a full day of flights and a 3 hour drive yet ahead of us, there was one customer service rep trying to train 2 new guys and they already had their hands full with an irate customer. They were pleasant to deal with and were able to quickly get us in our way. Due to availability, we also got a sweet upgrade to a new Jeep. Fun to drive for the week!

5/5 star to Budget. When I arrived at the counter my car was unavailable due to long weekend but the customer agent (Mr Amrinder) made sure that I am not wasting my time. He gave me upgrade on my car from intermediate to SUV + he gave me a discount on fuel. I think this was the best experience I got. A big shout out to him. Next time I am using Budget again for sure. Everything was very smooth .
