Young St Karaoke Lounge

Went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and I just have to say it was a great experience! I’ve been to many karaoke bars especially in Toronto and Yonge and Finch and this location was clean, bartender and server was polite and song selection was decent. The washroom was clean with a cute interior. We got the large room for 15-20 people between 9pm - 3am and the minimum spend on drinks and food was $430 + tax/gratuity, which I think was reasonable considering the fact that other karaoke bars charge for the room or pay per person. The menu had a decent selection for finger foods and drinks. We ended up getting Package B that included: 2 bottles, 12 shots, 12 beers, 4 pitchers of pop/juice (coke, ginger ale, cranberry and pineapple juice), 2 fruit platters and 2 food platters + 6 more throughout the night. FYI: you may have to pay extra $50 for certain bottles. We were going in and out of the room since some friends wanted to smoke and they had no problem at all. Overall great experience and will definitely be coming back!

Really fun experience! Can be pretty pricy for 2 people but overall worth it. I think it was $85 each but that was including 3 drinks, tax, and tip. Selection of songs is good. Especially for top 40. Not as good for slightly more niche tastes but can still find songs everyone knows, just not always your favourites. Worker was great, explained things well, service was quick.

Overall disappointing... overpriced and different servers were taking orders, which made ordering unnecessarily stressful. We would get some things that we ordered, charged for a couple of items we didn't receive, and we got overcharged for beer.If you decide to come here, insist on having one server, designate one person in your group to place orders, and take note of everything that you order.The staff kept clearing bottles, and we couldn't prove what we actually ordered. I gave this place a 2 star because it was clean, and the staff were actually kind and polite when they served us.

3 of my family members share the same birthday so we had a party in the main lounge area. We had about 30-35 people. It was AMAZING, Bar staff were super helpful and polite. We did bottle services and paid corking fee for bottles we brought. Mics and karoke system were flawless and easy to use. Great time!!

Pretty decent karaoke place considering it’s my first time ever. Large selection of music. Caution though if you’re not of Chinese decent or not travelling with anyone whom speaks the language, you may need help with the music choice machine as everything is in Chinese!Other than that, very spacious room and reasonably priced.

Reasonable pricing and really friendly staff. Went from 5-8 p.m. I believe, and it was $15 pp. The system is in Chinese, though, and it was really messed up, which meant we wasted a looot of time trying to find songs and eventually giving up. They were also missing a lot of popular songs, but we found most of the songs we liked, so we didn't mind too much. The rooms were cute too : >

Best birthday experience ever! Helpful snd friendly staff, delicious food, great drink packages and alot of new music

Reserved a room for 25 people and received confirmation 3 times over the phone that it would be okay. I also received confirmation over the phone multiple times that I could pay with American Express.When the day came for the party we were put in a room for 15-20 people. The room was tight and small for our party and it was also dirty. The tables and walls were sticky from God knows what and required cleaning. Once we started our party they had to have cleaners come in during and try to clean the room because it was gross and unprepared. Despite this you can visibly hope dirty the walls were. The mic’s also weren’t ready and had no batteries.Upon arriving i also asked the staff one more time if they were sure this room could fit 25 people and they dismissed me. The room did not fit the party and when we requested for more seats we were denied. The service was awful and dismissive. Even when ordering drinks and food they were not paying attention, bringing us the wrong orders.Our party made it work since we’ve already planned to hang out there from 9pm-3am. And once it came to paying our bill of $585.00, I’m told that they do not accept American Express, despite me confirming with them multiple times that this is how I’d plan to pay.I don’t understand how all staff here were difficult to work with but it was frustrating and they did not make it easy. Karaoke is great way to party and enjoy a weekend night out, it’s just unfortunate that the staff here allowed for so many mistakes to happen without any remorse.This will be the last time I book a party here since the places in Toronto seem to be more competent.

It is a nice place with reasonable price. $19.5 per person plus tip.
