Mad Maids came to our condo to do a deep clean for our family. We are in a smaller space for 4 people (mom, dad, twin 3 year olds) and my husband has been ill with cancer. The cleaner came in and worked super hard for us and did all of the jobs that kind of got away from me like baseboards and oven!! I would highly recommend a hiring Mad Maids when you need a cleaning done.

I booked a one-time deep clean with this company, and I was severely disappointed. The first team that came to clean did absolutely nothing on the deep clean list; baseboards weren't detailed, walls weren't wiped down, cobwebs were still everywhere, furniture wasn't dusted, doors weren't detailed, etc etc. My house looked pretty much the same as I had left it before the cleaners came. I emailed to voice my displeasure and they sent another team to reclean my house, but this team kept going on and on about how much time they had already spent on my house, and how they only had a limited amount of time left. They made me feel like they were just rushing to get the job done and not paying attention to anything. This second team did a slightly better clean job but it certainly was not the quality I expected for the amount of money I paid. And after they left, I still noticed a lot of things they had missed, again! I don't feel that their cleaners did any better of a job than I could have done. Both teams had a total lack of attention to detail, and there was certainly nothing in their efforts to suggest I was getting a deep" clean. Needless to say

So the first time I used Mad Maids I had a wonderful experience, we lived in a one bedroom condo (610sqf) and they did a great job, got everything done that was expected. So I thought I would book them for their move out deep clean service. I booked them for Tuesday the 29th of November one day before we had to give our keys to our landlord, and then on the 30th my husband and I would go over and make sure everything was as expected, before meeting our landlord. On the Monday (28th) I got a text from Mad Maids saying they could no longer do the Tuesday and could do the Wednesday the 30th. Which I was ok with because of my previous experience I knew everything would be done. On the 30th in the evening before meeting our landlord my husband and I went to the condo, and when we first stepped in it looked clean. But once we started looking at everything a lot was missed, there was dust on the outlets, the baseboards weren't cleaned the oven fan was not cleaned or wiped down, the top of the microwave was not wiped down. Inside the cupboards were not cleaned, the bathroom sink and toilet were not cleaned, the floor wasn't cleaned, the fridge wasn't cleaned and our other appliances were not cleaned, and the list goes on. When I contacted them, they said they could not get the same cleaning team in immediately but they would have this resolved for me that evening, making me think some cleaning team would come and clean up the mess that was left. I did not hear anything until the morning of December 1st, and had to I message them first. They said they were trying to get another team in but didn't hear back till 10pm that night, at that point I told them not to bother and my husband and I will do it and how disappointed we are and expected a refund. They tried to tell me they would give us a 50% refund, I told them that was completely unacceptable and I stated all the reasons above (with pictures), and told them they should have had a cleaning team come back that night to fix it cause that is proper customer service. They said that would talk to management and after a few hours I messaged them again, and they told me they were fully refunding me so, at least they did that. Thank god our landlords are very nice and did not find anyone for the 1st so they let us keep some keys to actually give the condo a good clean. This whole situation is mind blowing, if you offer a deep clean for moving out/in then the deep clean should be actually done! It made me think that the only reason I had a good experience the first time was because I was in our condo while they were cleaning. So, this time instead of having a relaxing move out which is why we booked this service, this situation made it extremely stressful, and made me not want to book with them again.

Excellent experience from start to finish! The cleaners were professional and went above and beyond. I felt comfortable with them in my home and it was nice to see how much they loved cleaning. I have a very busy schedule and having the extra help around the house was amazing. I will be using this company on a regular basis!

I had booked a moving out service with an arrival window of 1100-1200 and upon booking, communication was very prompt.On the day of the service, I waited in my apartment, as I had to be home to let them in, and by 1203 no one had arrived and there was no communication as to why they were late. I called Mad Maids, no one answered, and then I sent them a text. I received a response a few minutes later saying they called the team and they would be there in 10-15 minutes. I ran a quick errand and was back 22 minutes later and they still weren't there. I called the company, again, and that's when they finally showed up by 1243.Three team members arrived to clean my two bedroom, two bathroom apartment (approx 830 square feet). I got a text from one of them at 1406 saying they'd be done in 30 minutes, which I thought was fast and impressive. When I did the walk through I noticed some cabinets/ drawers weren't wiped and they were quick to clean them. But all in all, I feel like the job was rushed and mediocre. Yes, the main appliances were wiped down and cleaned, the floors were vacuumed and mopped, but the walls weren't wiped (they said they tried but my fiance went back and wiped them again and was able to remove all the scuff marks), higher up shelves and ceiling fans weren't dusted and I could still see hairs/marks on the floors.In summary, I would not recommend this company. I understand if people are running late, but the fact that there was no communication day-of and no apology for being late came across as very unprofessional. Plus the mediocre cleaning job didn't help (my fiance and I ended up spending an additional hour cleaning). The total charge for the service was $229.95, which didn't seem worth it. And in all fairness to Mad Maids, perhaps if I had pointed out all my concerns, maybe the team would have come back to clean them, but unfortunately my fiance and I just didn't have time and felt at that point it was easier to do it ourselves.UPDATE: I had sent Mad Maids this review prior to posting and received a prompt email back. They apologized for the team being late and missing the fans/shelves (stating that the team doesn't carry a ladder and may not have been able to reach it. However, I was able to dust the fan and 1/2 shelves from the floor myself using a duster). Mad Maids also said cleaning the walls are an additional $60, so that's understandable why they were missed, and concluded the email by saying they would offer a gift card for future services. When I explained that I wouldn't be using a gift card due to relocation, they reimbursed me $50, which is why I gave them an additional star for their prompt customer service response.
