This garden door is 7 years old and the sweep that was glued in place just fell off. I then saw that the wood inside the bottom of the door is all rotten. There is nothing left to hold the sweep in place. And the warranty dept told me there is no warranty, because I failed to routinely replace the sweep. The sweep is totally fine. Replacing that would not have kept the wood from rotting inside the door. I'm guesing water came in through the glass frame and seeped down inside the door to the bottom rotting it from the inside. This is an inferior product and Jeld-Wen doesn't stand behind what they sell. Beware of their doors. They only last 7 years.

June 2022 UpdateBrand new build and we are on our third door, which is not acceptable. When the third door arrives for install the service team (spectacular by the way) advised they are not going to install as it was the wrong door. Jeldwyn calls me to confirm that the door color was to be black. We confirmed black was the agreed upon color. We then contact jeldwyn to let them know that the door wasn't installed due to the incorrect color, but because they sent us the incorrect door. Fast forward from February 2022 to June 2022, and we finally got our third door installed.The phone call from Jeldwyn is important asking about the correct color of the door because as an act of good faith, Jeldwyn agreed (I have the emails) to have our door pre-painted to save us the hassle of waiting for our builder to schedule a paint job. The door arrives to be installed, but it is stark white (supposed to be black). Now, they are renagging on what they agreed to do and are telling us to deal with our builder for a paint job. While this may seem petty, it only adds to the level of frustration in sealing with their customer service department. We moved in 2020 and on door number 3 because the door keeps buckling and letting all the elements into our home. We even sent them a picture of the snow coming in through our front door. Many reputable companies out there, choose another one! There's a reason their ratings are lowWe bought a brand new build. Our front door has never kept out the cold temperatures. We called our builder and they had jeld-wen come check it out. It turned out our brand new door was warped and required a replacement. They scheduled an appointment, unfortunately, during the coldest day of the year. It was not a quick fix. Next winter and we continue to experience the same draft issue only now we can see the daylight in the gap between the door and door jam. Like all other reviews, they did not respond in a quick manner and gave me a quote which requires a credit card authorization before they will look at it. Unbelievable that a brand new home and door requires so much attention. I question the quality of products and workmanship. I'd recommend a different supplier if you require doors/windows. We replaced our door on our previous older home and it was all done with no concerns. We're still waiting to hear back from jeld-wen but it's tremendously disappointing.

Waited 3 weeks longer than advised for Jeld wen to have 2 doors and a window ready. Today they were to call to let us know they were going to deliver my window and doors between 2-3 pm. The drivers unloaded them on my parking pad in the back lane up against my garage and drove off. Didn’t call to say they were delivered. I live in the Northend. Even any area I would never just leave with out having a sign off from the customer. If I didn’t hear the big truck go by and see it was a Jeld wen truck I would not have known my order was delivered. The drivers seen me on my front step. Didn’t even roll window down to say you items have been delivered nothing. I checked my back camera right away to see my doors and window left in back lane and people scooping them out they would have been gone in minutes had I not noticed and run back to get them. I Watched my video surveillance to see they dropped them off, took a picture, got back in truck they had ample time to call me. I spoke with someone from Jeld wen and stated I’d like my delivery fee back as this was not what I paid for, I paid a lot of money for items that could have been stolen in minutes had I not noticed. He said he’d let me know. All he said was “this is not okay. I’ll have a talk with my drivers. Do you have someone to help you move them.” No real compassion or concern. I would never order anything again from Jeld wen. Or from any company that uses Jeld wen as a manufacturer. Not impressed. They have very poor customer service and compassion for customers. I would not recommend Jeld wen.

Removed my previous review I see.Some of the worst quality windows I have ever seen in my life .A company that supports physical assault , and when it’s brought to management they write up the victim, pathetic workplace .Work ethic in this place is about on par with their customer service which is non existent with no quality control.None of their window or door manufacturing parts of the shop have any jigs so everything hand cut. You could measure three doors in a row and find differences of up to inch . (Which they won’t fix btw)I would high advise seeking a much more competent window manufacturer .And a place with better customer service and employee relations

Absolutely worst windows AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE DO NOT BUY JELDWEN , I purchased 12 windows worth well OVER 15 000 $ very big casement picture windows triple pane because I thought jeldwen was a very good quality window, but boy was I wrong . 6 of the windows were built wrong from factory , they were built out of square and nothing we could do would make the windows open like they are supposed to . The rest of windows opened and closed but still had problems , silicon all over the windows and the frame moulding around the glass is very pour quality.I contacted Jeldwen warranty rep with my problems and they said we will build new ones and ship them right away , I was happy with that . But 2 months later I still had no windows after many phone calls asking a about my windows with no answer and promises of returning my calls but they never did . I finally received a answer that there techs would come install my new sash’s in the frames and then when they came 1 of the replacements was built wrong again ! Completely fed up with jeldwen I really hope this review discourages anyone from buying jeldwen windows. I usually never post reviews and am a easy going guy but this company has drove me nuts but I felt I had to share this experience with everyone, I will never buy a another Jeldwen window or door in my life and I will tell people to do the same.

Absolutely treat employees worst than garbage. The evening manager is a rude control freak who ignores you when you bring him questions about the job.They do not let you have a lunch break. Just three ten minute breaks for an eight hour shift and never clean their bathrooms. The conditions are inhuman.They do not take your complaints seriously at all dispute what they say on here!

Window frames (X3) were the right size however the glass was not, it took a couple months the first time to get them to come and look at them, the second visit also took over a month and the replacements were built way to small now going on to the third visit each of which I have had to take half a day off work. Poor quality and horrible customer service.

JeldWen where the provider of our front door.After I payed for technician visit , to solve my frozen door issue , or to provide future solution . he did not solve the problem , and told that the door should be replaced or realigned. Now I received an email from JeldWen that it is not their issue. That their product is good. Even though their technician told that there is an issues with the door.Horrible customer service.Try to avoid

Seems to be that 1 star review is being generous... reading all the most recent reviews. Had a client provide window size & rough opening for windows he was thinking of buying at Home Depot. Found Wilmar / Jeld Wen sizing guides online that had different sizes. Called Winnipeg office & he couldn't understand problem... had to explain 4-5 times. Said I don't want to specify a wrong size on drawings & not have windows fit. Said Home Depot sizes are wrong & have notified them. He didn't say what sizes ARE stock though... kept saying rough openings have to be 7/8 larger... said H.D. are 3/4"... he said that doesn't matter

Haven't had issues with our windows. However the Doors are terrible. We have 2 jeldwen doors and they are nothing but issues if it's gets below-5. They tell you their doors are designed for Manitoba winters. They are not. Their customer service is terrible, claims take extreme amounts of time to process. The repair guys are not knowledgeable and do the bare minimum to fix the problem. Basically just do temporary fixes until you are out of warranty and come up with other excuses as to why the door is not working properly
