Put fish on hold, they did not hold them, went to pick them up before closing was told it takes too long to get fish try again later, horrible customer service

Pet-valu was hosting a fundraiser for Northern Reach Rescue, so I took one of my dogs there to get his nails trimmed for a very reasonable cost, in support of a good cause. I also brought in a XXXL cooling vest for the same dog, which I had purchased there a few weeks earlier and turned out to be too small - he's a big male Lab. I wasn't sure what they could do, as I had lost the receipt. They didn't refund the purchase, but did issue a full credit on a gift card which is as much as I could expect, and much appreciated. However, I did ask if I could order the larger size and was told no, Pet-valu doesn't carry it. When I got home I checked their website and was able to order the larger size, so four stars only, for incorrect information at the store.

Customer service is personable. From the Manager to each team member they are helpful, attentive, smiling and genuine. They will offer and carry heavier purchases out to your vehicle. Researched a product for me, right to the source- thank you!!

Could use more lizard products. Slim pickings. Have to wait while they hand count worms. Doggy bath is good. Puppy food recommendation has been good.

Went to this store in Thunder Bay with my daughter. Hadn't been to a pet store in years. Very friendly staff! Beautiful store and very clean and organized. It had everything and more than you could need. The staff made sure she was on the points list and helped carry out the 2nd bag of Kitty Litter!

I love taking my pups shopping. Bought a beautiful red jacket for my husky and my pups love the raw treats. Great fish selection.

Friendly and helpful staff. During the peak of Covid when Petsmart didn't have crates or pens in stock. When Amazon deliveries were taking weeks... Pet Valu always had what I needed in stock. Greatly appreciated!
