Great experience with The Bay Optical downtown Calgary. I would return to the same location because of the exceptional customer service from the Optometrist Dr. J. Gervais and the Optical Manager Crystal. Crystal was very friendly and helpful. With her professional expertise she was able to pick out glasses suitable for me and now I have a great pair of glasses! I was also impressed with how quick my glasses arrived. I'm very happy with the whole experience. Thank you!

I have been a customer for a long time and I am extremely satisfied with the service.The manager, Crystal, is very knowledgeable and accommodating.They also have a wide selection, reasonable prices and amazing discounts.

Knowledge staff who are really good at fittings, stylish frames.

This location has to have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. The staff are extremely aggressive and rude. For example while picking out glasses, I had Kristie literally grabbing frames from my hands and putting them back on the shelf before I had even made a decision as to which ones to go with, because she didn't agree with the choices I'd made in frames even though I absolutely loved them. Then when I stopped in to check if the frames I'd ordered had come in (as I had been told a week and it was now over a week and a half) another staff member snapped at me and told me in an extremely rude tone that they hadn't been shipped and to stop coming by, as I'd be called when they were in. This had been the only time I'd stopped by so it wasn't like I was stopping in every day or every few days to check, and even if I was, no one should ever talk to a customer that way. I highly recommend you avoid this Bay Optical at all costs, as there are much better optical companies out there that will give you excellent service.

Good selection, great staff, escalators will get installed eventually, hang on.

Crystal the manager is so good at adjusting glasses. Dr gervais is a great optometrist! He really knows what he is doing. When I had a chalazion he recommended a wonderful ophthalmologist.
