Red Top Tower Apartments

This apartment is in a good location. The market and parks are also close and transportation is convenient. The view is good and the corridors are cleaned well, so it is pleasant to live.

I regretted that I even applied there, although I had a good credit and submitted all required documents they refused the application mentioning they cannot tell me the reason!!! Even didn't notify me of their decision I found it by myself from central office. It was wasting my time.

You can rent this building but you will face with unlimited issues with their managing systems.i mentioned just one of those issues in building's parking by below photos :

Worst management ever. Avoid at all cost. Office Manager Francelle - And her little secretary are both ignorant and rude, with no customer-service in any side of their mind. This apartment has cockroaches everywhere and parking lot filled with dust. The rental office will lie to you about the rent price and will change their word in your next visit. When you ask for something they have promised before, it will not be there - even with a written paper, and they will say they do not remember, without an apology. What a very irresponsible and unprofessional service. No wonder why their office member changes every 2months. When we asked to meet the manager, she hid inside her office saying she is not available, without properly doing anything. Having her in your company will make your residents very happy surely, CAPREIT.

i had my car stolen June 1 2022. i went to management so they can’t stop the charges for the parking spot and to see if they can provide a new key for the mail. The incompetent Francis Farella, had repeatedly told me to come back in 2 weeks from now because so and so was not here. This lasted for at least 2 months, until i filled a complaint and the next day i received my mail box key. When i asked for a refund for the parking charges i then was refused, claiming that i had no proof that i went in the office on numerous occasions. Not only you have to deal with incompetent personal, but even when it’s clearly their mistake the head management starts screaming at you and treats you with no professionalism.

I don't know why i can not make a review anymore here but i can make edit from here so there is an other issue i mention here:31 march 2023:There are many problems related to hot water in the 5740 Cavndish building, which all the tenants of the building have been facing for a long time. The support is very weak. And unfortunately, their answer is not respectful. And they hang up the phone without any satisfactory explanation in the middle of your conversation. This has happened to me twice. I informed them in the last two days that the water in my house was not hot and they just informed me that they are working on it. But there is no report available on what process the situation is in. When I called and asked them to be responsible to inform me why the water is still cold after two days and if they are persistent or just delaying, they hung up on me with complete rudeness! I do not recommend not only the 5740 Cavndish building, but also the entire CAPRET company.__________________________________Few month before:My wife and nine-year-old daughter were in the right (small) elevator today. God had mercy that they had reached the S3 floor because the elevator was apparently released and they hit the ground hard! Imagine if they were on the first or 20th floor, their death would be certain!! Are the elevators inspected? If so, which company inspected them? This company should definitely be sued, or if Caperit did not inspect, this issue should be immediately publicized and investigated!

Poor and irresponsible building manager, she doesn’t care what’s going on in the building, heating system is not working properly for many units, cockroaches have recently appeared in the different floors and are spreading but building office puts off exterminating process! Ventilation system is out of service. For all of these, complaints have been filed, and still waiting to be treated as of Nov 6, 2022.

I am going to correct my review.Your agent is not a good person. Because when you want to negotiate her, she does not accept to do this. I am a student and I have to pay about $9000 to university per semester. Also, I can work 20 hours per week. Furthermore, we copped with a bad and unusual situation on November 2022 and we could not come in to our apt for the sake of cockroach, beetle, and spiders. I had to get another apt for 45 days. But you compromised us just for one month. Whatever I negotiated with your colleague, he did not accept. As I mentioned your manager did not want to negotiate us. She is bad tempered. I really do not have enough money for this year.One more things, your colleague made me write a good review. We are leaving in the red top for six years and saw the improvements made in the building. There were renovations inside and outside the building. The area is nice and quiet. The neighbors are very nice people. Without having a car we can’t say much about parking experience but there is a buss stop next to the main entrance.

Hot water and heating problems during winter, problematic neighbors, irresponsible and poor management! This buliding doesn't have any rules anymore. It used to be a much better place to live in 1-2 years ago!
