I've used it in the past without much issue but today, i called waited 15m for a taxi and had to call again to find out it was cancelled without notice, they sent another one and 10m later called again, cancelled. will not use them again i almost missed my trip due to this.

Modern taxi is honestly great. Everyone there is so kind, and it doesn't even feel like they're doing it just to get a high tip. The only issue is that they do take a while to arrive, so it's best to call ahead of time to schedule a time for them to be there

I asked if there was a car available on the west end of Kingston, but a car wasn't assigned to the call for another 30 minutes.Not expecting the car to even show up now. At 50 minutes to the wait I called another cab company, they arrived ten minutes later just as Modern showed up, an hour after the call was placed.They also failed to pay their phone bill recently.

Called and waited on the phone for about 10 min with nothing so I called back after 10 mins, I was still on the phone for about 10 min before hearing anything and when I finally get ahold of someone I waited 30 mins for a taxi witch never showed. Do not use this company

If you want to get to your destination safely. Don't take modern taxi especially number 2. Does not stop at red lights even with paying passengers in the vehicle

I have used modern 100's of times with my small service dog and am treated extremely well. Twice (in 7 yrs) there was a rude driver, reported it and moved on. I'm very pleased, pleased indeed.

Saturday July 9. My Sister, Daughter and myself took cab 67 the cab was absolutely filthy inside and out. He drove absolutely terrible slamming breaks and in the wrong lanes. Sorry it was car #62.

I normally have taken Modern Taxi and up until recently it was my usual taxi service. I called for a pickup one day about 2 weeks ago now, and the driver, who graciously provided his name, Rusty, was beyond disrespectful, rude, ignorant and very unprofessional. Swore and proceeded to flip me off. Coped an attitude when I said I was paying debit. Overall, the WORST experience I've ever had. Definitely not taking modern taxi anyone, and especially if RUSTY is working.

This company is...Terrible. Called and asked if we could get a cab with a car seat for my 2 yo. The woman who answered said... They aren't required to have hire cabs who carry car seats... I said I didn't think they were required but that common sense and decency would probably mean that they should have a few around the city.... I then asked what she suggested, if we should call another company and She said she didn't care. I hung up at that point.People have kids. People need cabs. What is wrong with this company?*Also, you're really knocking it out of the park here with all your reviews. Way to go! *
