Nova Decks and Renovations

An amazing job and an amazing experience. Mark and Keith rebuilt and resurfaced our deck complete with new railings, glass and low voltage lighting. They did an incredible job and we could not be happier with the results. They are both highly skilled, pay terrific attention to detail and take great pride in their work. They are friendly and considerate and it was a pleasure to have them around. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Definitely 5 stars.

We chose Nova Decks for a major backyard renovation including original deck removal. Mark was very helpful in interpreting what we wanted into the actual design. This included a three season porch with steps down to a deck surrounding a swim spa on three sides, then steps down again to a stamped concrete patio and walkway. It was a pleasure working with Mark, he is very genuine and really wants the best for his clients. He takes a tremendous amount of pride in his work and pays a great amount of attention to details. The project turned out better than we could imagine and we enjoy it everyday. 100% recommend Nova Decks.

Mark Pellow and his team are simply exceptional in every way. They designed and built our composite deck exactly as they promised, and the craftsmanship of our deck is truly spectacular. Mark obviously takes an incredible amount of pride in delivering perfect outcomes; he was honest and direct at all stages of the project, communicating constantly about the project status and progress. Outside of the superb design and build (which generates positive comments from every visitor!), Mark's follow up was especially noteworthy. When a hurricane was due shortly after our deck was complete, Mark called and offered to remove the large glass panels before the storm, and re-install them after, just as a precautionary safety measure - FREE OF CHARGE! He followed up again and offered to augment the design with additional glass clamps, again just to be safe. All of this was done at no charge, well after the job was complete as contracted.I would most highly recommend Nova Decks and Renovations for any large scale contracting work - they are incredibly skilled and professional, the best contractor I've worked with over the course of many years of home ownership. A++++

Nova Decks has just completed a large deck and screened-in porch project for me. I would not hesitate giving them my highest recommendation. Over many years, I have done numerous renovation projects with dozens of different contractors, including a recent major 6-month renovation on my current house, and this project with Nova Decks was the best experience I have had with any contractor.I am very particular and had very high expectations for this large project. Mark and his great team exceeded my expectations in every way. Mark was fabulous to work with right from the first time we met. Mark is a very good communicator, he listens well and he provided great ideas and advice to help make my vision a reality.The quality of their workmanship is second to none and I appreciated their great attention to detail. I was very pleased that they did not cut corners and, in fact, impressed with extras that I didn’t expect they would do.It was truly a pleasure working with Mark and his team, and I look forward to working with them again on my next project. I highly recommend Mark and his team at Nova Decks. They are trustworthy, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.Our project was the demolition of an old deck and retaining wall, putting in a new retaining wall, and building a much bigger deck. From start to finish, Mark, Keith and Riley were excellent to work with. Mark is very communicative, has great design and building instincts, and made the whole process positive. The team's attention to detail is fantastic and the work is beautiful. High quality and highly recommended! Five stars!

I emailed this company via their website on late Sunday 27th to get a quote for a deck rebuild based on the good reviews and the photos I saw online. I gave them a call on Monday 3.17 PM to check if anyone had received my email and try to talk to someone, left a voicemail. Called them again on Monday 9.59 PM left a message with the hope to see if anyone would take the time to follow up on my email inquiry on Tuesday morning but no one did not an email not a call. Called for the last time today at 3.10 PM and no one replied. This is a good sign to avoid companies that do not appreciate when someone is interested in their services. Maybe they're great but the lack of communication is a sign for me to avoid this company and give them a 1 star review.

Nova Decks did an amazing job building our new deck. The workmanship is exceptional and we look forward to enjoying our beautiful backyard oasis for years to come. I highly recommend Nova Decks if you are looking for a quality job at a competitive price!

There are a lot of companies to choose from when building a deck but we wanted to work with people who really cared about design and all the little details - that was Nova Decks. The level of care and quality of work were better than we could have hoped for and our deck is stunning. We look forward to working with Mark and Keith again on our next project!

Mark and his team did an exceptional job removing and replacing an old deck, front steps, and fence. The quality of the construction and finish is exceptional. The NOVA team was friendly and professional and went about their work with a minimal disruption on the normal household activities. Communication with the client was ongoing during the project. The work started and concluded on schedule and most important on budget. Would highly recommend to anyone considering creating or updating their outdoor living space.
