The Shipyards

Honestly, I don’t know what to say. When I went there and looked at some of the products they had there, some person I’m guessing who works there just came and started looking at me and what I was doing with my hands as I was looking through the product, as if I was about to steal from there or do something to their products. Very disappointed, would never come here again.

This store now sells copies of my novel Coincident"! I'm so grateful to be part of The Shipyards family!I've picked up so many unique gifts here! I used to take salsa dancing lessons on the boardwalk; I loved watching sunsets from The Shipyards patio! The owners are also super friendly."

There is a small shopping mall and the store has a variety of cultural goods.Also, there is a special and unique Starback in this store.

The Shipyards is a market with an assortment of combined local shops. One can buy locally crafted goods such as candles, clothing, crafts, food items, jewelry, art, and an assortment of gift items. You can also find Wheelhouse Coffee which sells Starbucks coffee. Purchased some Muskoka made wooden wick candles for gifts. They also carry Deb's Dips, Nutty Chocolatier products, and artwork from local artisans. Great place to shop for gifts or something for yourself, or grab a coffee or treat to enjoy at the nearby waterfront.

There are some great products, but it was super embarrassing browsing the silverware rings while being constantly supervised. Won’t return

They have the cutest stuff. The lady who did the billing, on the floor above was the sweetest. Can’t wait to visit again. There were so many more things that I saw that I promised I’d come back for. Cutest little shop. Do not miss this gem of you are passing through!

So many beautiful and handmade things I wanted to buy them all. Found a beautiful alpaca wool scarf. Very cute store, definitely recommend coming in and check it out.

If you haven't been to the Shipyards you should definatly make plans to visit! Such a great place to shop, more than 30 different artisans and businesses from the local area showcasing and selling their products. Photographers, Jewellers, Olive Oils, Jams, Woodworking, Vintage Collectables, Kitchen Items, Household knick knacks and cute decorative items, clothing, purses... omgoodness..the list goes on. It's great! It's a place for these small businesses to be all year round. The staff is great, they have a small Starbucks Cafe so you can grab a coffee, and in the summertime you can take a nice walk on the boardwalk after shopping, down by the Steamships. It makes for a really nice afternoon! They are open in the wintertime too.. all year round you can support local. I love it!

Very nice place, and the owners were very nice. They had a good selection of gifts such as candles and antique furniture. There is also a Starbucks inside and it’s very convenient.
