Visited to do a circuit with friends for a birthday and had an excellent time! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The facility was awesome. My favorite parts were the cold tub and the face mask. I'll definitely be back! The location was excellent, too. I'd recommend the Nature Folk Wellness Collective to anyone!

I’ve visited NatureFolk a handful of times now for the Nordic circuit and for services and have really enjoyed it. I love the relaxing atmosphere of the circuit space and the salt scrub/mud mask is a nice touch. I only have one piece of constructive feedback, which is that I dislike that any time spent in the change room is included in the one or two hour booking for the circuit. The downtown location of the spa is great and it would be nice to go somewhere afterwards, but that would require having a shower, dusting the hairdryer that’s provided, maybe touching up makeup, etc. It’s too expensive of an activity to spend 20 of your 120 minutes on that, so instead I end up just quickly changing and going home.

reviewing this spa as a plus-size person/person with accessibility needs --I recently did the nordic circuit with a friend of mine, I am a plussize person, and she has physical accessibility needs. While the spa was beautiful, it was not very welcoming for people in different body types. This was surprising, because they advertise as an inclusive space, but I could not have felt more uncomfortable - as it the spa was not meant for my fat body. For example: they did not have any plus size robes or larger towels (so plus size patrons don't have the same access to privacy/covering up, and we have to shamefully walk around with ill fitting towels/robes) and the swim suits they carry are only straight sized.Further, none of the actual seating in the spa area was accessible. My friend, who is very petite agreed that the wicker chairs in the back looked decorative (not sturdy, and def not comfy, so even for a small person they were not welcoming). The tiny square floor mats were too small to sit comfortably on and too close together, the steps they were on were also shallow and heavily trafficked, so it seemed impractical to relax there. The chairs in the lower seating level, though wide, were so low that we were worried about getting out of them. For me as a plus size person, or anyone with bad knees, or shorter legs, they are not accessible. The bench in one of the saunas also settled when we sat on it, so I avoided it, worried it would break. The change rooms were very tight (bathroom door almost hits the toilet, locker doors leave little room to pass by when open, shower head is so close to the wall you almost have to lean on it to bathe, etc.).Overall, though the spa is beautiful, it does not seem to be designed with accessibility in mind. I did not feel welcomed, and I did not think that I was the kind of person they had in mind when designing the space

I attended the Nordic circuit with my partner and we really enjoyed it. The locker rooms are very tiny and a bit crowded when several people are starting and ending their circuit at the same time. To lock the locker, hold your card flat underneath the button, and push the button until it changes colour. The circuit itself had an infrared sauna which was new to me and I quite enjoyed. The two Finnish saunas were essentially identical which I think is a bit of a missed opportunity to offer some more variety. The cold plunge pool is the coldest I've ever experienced, which I loved. The warm pool is nice but I preferred relaxing on the couch. The clay mask and salt scrub both left us feeling very soft. Overall we really enjoyed the experience and I love the convenience of having the option right in Dartmouth. We will definitely be back!

This was my first time going to Naturefolk. Upon arrival, I immediately felt uncomfortable as the front desk staff was so unfriendly. The brown haired girl started asking me my information and then said “I sent you and email” then walked away. The way she presented herself was very condescending and like we didn’t belong there. The other staff rushed through instructions and gave us a quick tour. We weren’t really sure what were were suppose to be doing so kind of just went with the crowd. Considering the size of the space, it was over crowded. You had to almost time yourself with everyone else to get into things because we wouldn’t all fit into the pools. While the amenities were nice, the experience didn’t feel very relaxing.

Their thermal circuit is a very calming space. Your cares will float away as you enjoy their relaxed atmosphere. My friend and I especially enjoyed our time in the infrared sauna. As first timers, we prepared by reviewing the NF website. We informed staff at check-in that this was our first visit so we could be given a good rundown of the rules and expectations. Something that was not communicated to us was their expectation that guests be dressed & checked out before the 2-hour booking was finished (this includes your change time in their small locker room). As we were changing to leave, one staff member poked her head into the locker room twice, looking very upset, making eye contact but saying nothing. While we were paying, the same staff member came out to the front desk and brusquely asked how many people were in the change room with us. This caught us off-guard because generally, staff will ask how your visit was (at other establishments). My friend and I explained that there were 4 other women trying to use the change room as well. Her tone and body language was hostile as she explained that we should have been finished changing and paid by our booking end time since they stagger their bookings to ensure only 2 people are in the locker room at once. This makes sense, and I can appreciate that. What I didn't appreciate was being put on blast at a place that I paid to be about something that was not communicated beforehand and is not common knowledge. This interaction ruined the relaxed state we had achieved, and we left the spa feeling like two delinquent children instead of valued patrons.

It's great that this beautiful spa is located in Dartmouth. However, I wish the time slots were a bit longer. Keep in mind that if all slots are booked, it will be very busy in this space, and you will have to wait for the saunas you'd like to use. I'd like to reiterate that it is a lovely spa in the city! Highly recommend, I will most certainly be back!

Went today for a much anticipated quiet and relaxing spa. There where three guys and three girls going from the hot tub to the cold pool constantly and we couldn’t get In at all in the 70 min thereWe got in the three small saunas and that was allIt was very very loud and not relaxing at all after 70 min of a two hour session we leftReception stated she was sorry it was noisy but they where regulars and they don’t ask the. To be quieter !!The change rooms are tiny only room for max 2 people….. very maximumShe only charged us an hour each but my daughter had a two hour gift voucher and I paid the $17 for an hour!!!Awful experience don’t go !

I attended the indoor nordic spa circuit at Nature Folk about a month ago. There were several things that were positive about my experience - the relaxing atmosphere, cleanliness, and the variety of saunas to try to name a few. While I enjoyed my time, it was NOT a size inclusive space. The change rooms are small and difficult to navigate - regardless of your size. The robes and towels are not designed for bigger bodies. The stairs to get in and out of the cold plunge pool are narrow and difficult to fit through. Even the chairs in the waiting area and massage rooms (I attended a massage on a separate visit) are narrow and difficult to sit on. It's discouraging that a new wellness spa in our area wouldn't take size into consideration.
