I bought all of the tile for my bathroom here and Marla helped in so many ways. She was the easiest person to work with and I truly appreciated all of her help and suggestions. Congratulations to Marla on her recent retirement.

We had our basement and bathroom redone last year, and used Colautti for carpet and hard flooring in the basement (we planned on using them for tile and granite in the bathroom, but after our experience with them in the basement, we changed our minds). The person we dealt with when choosing flooring was very nice and helpful. The carpet installation was fine. No problems there. They did a fine job. We had part of the basement, a half bathroom, and a vestibule done with luxury vinyl plank flooring. In the entryway to our laundry room, they didn't extend the flooring into the doorway far enough, so there is a gap where you can see the laundry room concrete floor. Then in the larger area, there were two problem areas. One spot where the flooring hadn't clicked together properly, and another where the edge of the plank was damaged. I told my contractor, and Colautti came back and fixed the spot that hadn't clicked together, but the damaged plank wasn't replaced. They just pounded down the edge so it wasn't sticking up, leaving us with a dent in our brand new, very expensive floor. They said they had to special order more flooring to extend the flooring into the laundry entryway. We waited and waited for them to come back, but they never did. We decided not to have them deal with the one damaged plank, thinking they would probably mess it up even more. We didn't have a great contractor, which didn't help. After this experience, we went with another place for our bathroom tile and granite. We thought since they had been in business forever, there would be no problems. We were wrong. Do not recommend at all.

Large selection tile, slate tops, supplies and many quality items.Cut tile or Slate, long piece's if it's bought at there shop.There is not much exterior stone or fire place.

We went to Colautti because it is a trusted name in the city. Unfortunately, it seems they have gotten away with that assumption for too long given their customer service was BRUTAL! We went in on a Sunday afternoon - very pleased with the service when we walked in the door. Someone came to help us and directed us over to the tile section where we wanted to look at tiles for a shower as we were renovating our bathroom.After picking out a tile we liked we asked if we could receive a quote for the job. The girl said no problem that it was complimentary and she took down our contact information. She let us know right away that they were really busy with commercial projects at the moment and they could book us in about a month to do the job. We thought that wouldn’t be a problem as we still had a lot of demo to do on the bathroom and that would give us enough time to get the shower ready.She told us that someone would be able to come out first thing the next morning to take a look and provide a quote. This worked out as my boyfriend was off. Come to find out nobody ever showed up or called. We were not impressed.It was a small job and not worth their while. They are only interested in big commercial jobs. Wish she would have mentioned that upfront and we would have gladly gone elsewhere. Wasted our time. Would not recommend.

I’ll start with the good. Very nice showroom. The brands they sell appear to be some of the better name ones. Prices are OK but on the higher end vs other stores (possibly due to better brands sold? Not sure there).Had them come out to take measurements. Told us they’d be in touch. We followed up with them a few days later to make sure they hadn’t forgotten us. They promised a call back with a quote. After 2 weeks of waiting we decided to go with someone else. Not the most organized place I suppose..

Not entirely sure why im reading terrible reviews, it almost discouraged me from coming in until i met a nice lady who happens to be a fabricator for another company, who said great things. Reluctantly, i came in but Dakota was great, service was great, and Tony has answered all my questions/concerns for my kitchen countertop installation via text and emails, very promptly—even after buisness hours! I think i've asked him to give me a quote on literally 50 stones...and i got a quote for all 50! Kitchen renos are a big ordeal and they're here to help!

We highly recommend Colautti. We went to several places looking for a backsplash. Tom was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable in helping us choose the tile for our kitchen. The installer was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient at getting the work done promptly!! Our backsplash could not have been more perfect! We love it :)
