Update: Downgrade from 4 to 2 stars. ALWAYS closing up to 20 minutes early on weekends and stats. It's very infuriating driving on a stat holiday to have them wave you off or shrug shoulders. I even noted it's all itemized and less than a minute transaction being a regular but they simply DON'T CARE. Now I know better to just skip the stat and use their Glanford location instead, or just go to a grocery store; not worth the drive for naught. Inconvenient for shift workers having limited hours/days to do their recycling. I would give 1 to 0 stars but they do have the inside staff who are respectful and I'm cognizant of that.----Original review:Usually the only location open on stat holidays and the first to reopen during pandemic. Make sure you use the Queen Ave side to do returns; the Princess Ave side can also be used but it's usually lined up with extremely sketchy patrons so use at your own risk!

I bring the kids. A bit smelly. Socially disadvantaged stroll by and hang around nearby the area but never bother anyone...noisy carts, but fast friendly service. They have a sink to wash hands which is great.

It's a good thing to not go first thing or last hour, since the gate closes at 430,if you're not in there sorting already. This is regarding the walk-in princess st side. The staff are very patient and helpful, even though there's alot on their plate. I've been going for over 6 years and not had any major issues with management or employees. There's usually enough flats or else someone working on it to get more asap, and someone comes right away to ring you up. As for cleanliness, its clean when the place opens up so any mess during the day is on the lazy ones who leave their garbage and bags all over when there are a few huge barrels for trash which are emptied throughout the day. I am revising my review to note that there has been speedy, accurate service at the till. There's no long lines anymore, the counts are accurate, flats are always available and I just want to give a gold star to alk the staff at the queens/princess location. Thanks for the effort you guys do and most of us regulars have noticed and appreciated the results.

I didn't feel safe their this time as there were too many homeless people around and in the site and one of them banged on my (elderly) mom's SUV's window 2 times because we were trying to come into the depot and he was standing in the entrance and wasn't wanting to move out of the way and we had to go around him.

Quick service and super friendly staff. They are accommodating and this location is run very well!Clean parking area and follow covid protocols.I appreciate the hours of operation for those who need the evening to return their Bottles. You wouldn’t expect such a nice facility downtown but they make sure it’s a welcoming environment.

Lot isn't big enough for the amount of people trying to recycle here. Aside from that this place runs like clockwork, the staff are excellent here. You can grab a cart and some flats to put the bottles and cans on. I'm still new to the city, so I don't know all the ins and outs about this place yet. I see people bringing bags of soda cans and beer cans and not sorting them so maybe there is a program in place here where they just scan a barcode on the bag and it has the personal information on it and they get the money deposited. Not sure but it works, glad to see so many people recycling.

Worst customer service ever. A guy named Wayne has a complex where he thinks he's worth more than he is in life so he treats others and puts them down. It's ludicrous the management allows this kind of customer service Wayne needs to be fired he has little man syndrome..l probably missing a lot of essential key areas in his iife - goes home drinks goes to work had nothing going for him he degraded me so much I feel bad for him I hope he finds happiness ess in his sad sad life of his.

Not a place you would want to return your bottles to unless you wanted to be treated unfairly, or have some rude Staff and or Manager come and tell you to take your bottles elsewhere, regardless of the place you work it’s always in the best interest to keep a professional manner. That was just ridiculous experience, never again

I always feel a little duped by their opaque way of counting the returns. But I can't be bothered to do my own counting in advance so I can't assume anything!
